Her app was treated in London, the VO picked a loophole she needs to tighten the loophole and all will be well.Be it Kenya,London or Lagos unless it is not treated on the surface of the earth
makano:
I tire oo. For your info, for those of you who had applied September or are planning of applying online, be rest assured your application is going to the Nairobi demons. Dont think you will avoid them by not applying through the paper route. Nairobi Demons are now attending to online applications and they are the ones attending to September and October applications. So please when applying online, have it at the back of ur mind that ur application isnt going to the Nice VOs(London and Lagos) but to the Demons themselves(Kenya). So make sure you put ur best in ur applications coupled with a lot of prayers. Peace

I am not a guru neither am I close but did you show any evidence of proof of relationship btw you and ur uncle,
Ur payslip
What did you use as hometie?
These are minor things but it helps sometimes. In all don't let go of God's hand in your app, He raises and pulls down. The gurus are coming to add more but I am saying it the 2nd time if you are convinced enough reapply, if not kindly request for ur GCMS note.

I showed proof and included my payslip. I used my registered business company as home tie and inherited property from my mum. Also attached the study leave I got from my company
I am requesting for my GCMS note already.

Mr "I sabi" , Mr "Smart" your first paragraph was not needed atall.. it's still very early. If you don't have any good words for the applicant, it's better you just don't comment. After all, you were not mentioned. gosh!!!

You're a dumbass! @Jnyuwa wasn't trying to poke fun at the OP. Instead, he was only indirectly stating that online applications have started getting refused by the V.Os' on the suspicion that those applications are now being reviewed in Kenya, if you had read the last sentence of the first paragraph you would've noticed this drift. But you are so DUMB to notice that - as you were busy looking for faults in what he wrote.

You want to travel abroad or you want to travel to Canada?
The process is tedious, i must be sincere with you, because you don't not have the necessary documents.

Better still, invest in Nigeria and postpone the travel plan, but there may be people who can help you with processing you travel with their own documents, but you got to pay a lot of Money.

Good morning. I have been a silent reader here for a while now .
I submitted my application for a pgd program (Humber college winter 2019)
Online 24th of September
Biometrics: 26th of September
Refused study permit: 5th of October

Attached letter of refusal. I plan on re applying. I guess it's because i did not pay my tuition fee. It's a 2 years program.

This refusal is something else ohh. Just 9days to say NO... But all is well, try to get your gcms notes, take a chill pill and restrategize.

Ur royal Highness Prince Orji, its obvious you do not know what you really want. First and foremost, this is a Canadian Thread and not an Abroad thread. 2ndly, This is thread for Canadian study and not for work, if you are planning to work and you use this mindset to apply for a student permit, I am most certain your application will be seriously refused without any apology. I will advise you Calm down, know what you want, and when u have decided you wanna go to Canada to study, kindly come back here and ask a proper question. Peace.

Good Morning Guys

I'm in the process of applying for a study permit in Canada , and I came across a question asking if I have been denied entry to any country ,
I have been denied a US visiting visa (B1) , does this question apply to me

"Visa Denial" is different from being "Denied Entry". If you were turned back at the point of entry, then you can click yes. But if it was only your visa application that was refused, I do not think that could count as being denied entry

Please for the guys who submitted passport at vfs for visa stamp, what was the latest you got it back? Was told 5-10 working days. Just submitted this morning, hoping to get it back latest by Friday next week as my sick leave will end by Friday next week and have to resume work on Sunday, had to fly from ph yesterday.

Guys any answer to this?
@goingforward, @galala123, @naijaforeigner

All things been equal, you should get your passport within 10 working days.

Although mine took 5 weeks but I think mine took so long because I applied for my visa in London and then got my passport request Letter and then travelled back to Lagos to submit my passport.

Thanks @naijaforeigner, much appreciated.

ur points are totally valid but i think i'll stick with my plan for now. i dont want to keep pushing getting my MSc, plus its just gonna take 1 yr in the UK unlike 2yrs in Canada.

I will def still give Canada a try but just not anytime soon.

Cheers man

Naijaforeigner:

It is well bro. You will definitely get your Uk visa cos the process is straight forward. Downside is there is no automatic staying back like you have in Canada except God gives you a job and the company decides to sponsor you.

But please let me appeal to you to reapply one more time for Canada. The same SOA you will use for Uk is the same account you will use for Canada. Most masters in Uk schools go for at least £9000 and maintenance funds of at least £ £9,125 (almost same amount you will use for Canada). I suggest you Defer your Canada Admision and also apply for Uk MSc (it is free). I did same thing.

All you will need do this time is do online for Canada so that your passport is still with you to enable you apply for Uk. You can apply for Uk about 3 weeks before resumption (you will do priority application). Even after paying your deposit fees to any Uk school you can collect your money back when your Canada visa is out.

Trust me, even though Canada visa process is tiring, I kid you not bro, The peace of mind you have knowing you can stay back to work is everything. Imagine staying in UK for 4 years and I still could not stay back? If I had done my BA in Canada, I am so sure I would have nearly gotten my PR by now.

My opinion is there is no point spending about 4m and above in any foreign country for studies and not stay back to get that foreign work experience.

Long story short, you can kill 2 birds with one stone. Think about it.

Good afternoon everyone, please how can my friend with HND in microbiology go for nursing in Canada. Who has ideas, please help me
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Naijaforeigner: 2:14pm On Oct 16, 2018
Let me say this loud and clear, do not let anyone put fear in you unnecessarily.

Why are you choosing online? Is it cos you need your passport or cos you are trying to avoid “Kenya demons”? If the latter is the case, then you are defeated already. It is a mindset game.

There is no demon anywhere that can stop what is yours when you have God with you. Put all your documents, make sure there are no errors in your LOE and SOP, put in hard work by reading through past pages, submit your application and put the rest in Gods hands.

Don’t let anyone put fear in you, carefully choose what you need on this forum and discard what is not necessary. Good thing is no one here is the VO.

If you end up been delayed, reapply cos it is not the end of the world.

I don't know what's wrong with you guys that try to nitpick others over their words, it doesn't make any sense atall. I see him explaining skewness of our applications and it's subsequent effects cus that what a lot of us had pondered on at some point before submission. Moreover his observation is faultless. You too could have ignored whatever he also said if you can't help but use those words of yours. Not to further flex some muscles. If it'd come to banters or trade of words now, this thread could loose it relevance. We should learn to use some euphemisms when correcting others here and simply not misbehave or misyarn under the veil of a digital room. Remb respect begets respect biko and we should all stay far away from all this bad energy.
