INEC did not disqualify any party or candidates from contesting elections in Zamfara, what INEC simply said was that the APC as a party did not submit list of candidates to carry the flag of the party in the coming election, within the stipulated time frame.

PDP can not go to court. It is inec alone that can appeal this judgment and you bet they will provide a very watery defence that the judge will look good toss the case

Slight correction. The deadline for submission of names is the 18th of October (2 days time).


What INEC actually said was that APC did not conduct primaries within the stipulated time, while APC said that it selected its candidate within the stipulated time.

APC is always several steps ahead of PDP.

The Igbos representing PDP in every spare are only good in 'chest-beating' and wailing; the results of coming elections will shock them to their foundations. They will simply return to 'biafla or death' no reflendum no erection' slogans.

The status quo to be maintained as at the date of the order is that APC has no candidate so the national APC cannot even submit any name to INEC.

Try read the court order and not the headline. APC National Body cannot even submit the so called list of Consensus Candidates

As my Egbon above me said only a Youth ignorant of Nigerian politics will for a second think that APC will not field a field a candidate in Zamfara,when they have settled their differences in Apc Zamfara,the Judge will order INEC to regognize their Candidate.

This is election season money (Dollars,Charles mama head and Euros)must change hands,time for Judges to make good easy money from disgruntled groups & politicians.
