On dz information platform, many people have been misled wrongly in thinking that trading and investing are the same.
The truth of the matter, the traders are more interested in current TA and FA.
For now, both traders n investors are not smiling
The traders tend to have now now buy n sell approach while the investors are optimistic of future value of a company.
In a recent analysis in an online article it was stated that the whole value of quoted companies in all xchanges in Africa is less than 500 billion $
This is less than the value of Amazon @1 trillion $°
The implications of this is that both investors n traders should look beyond the continent until things improve.
There is no other time to diversify.
We hope the brokers in Nigeria will put up a strong case at SEC and other regulatory bodies, that will allow them to trade and invest for willing Nigerians in offshore platforms.
Right now, the language of the day in South Africa is offshore trading and investing.
Comparism were made and it was shown that offshore Portfolios outperform the local benchmark..
Now, pple are giving up on the local bourse.
So if you want your investment to have any chance of being ‘carefree’ and ‘happy’ I suggest you gradually move what you can away from Africa in order to get a better chance of growing your capital. Your current investment strategy of concentrating all capital in NSE might not bring the needed euphoria.
#get ready for offshore diversification.
Love you all
Wishing you all a great week, a bullish week in advance.

NIGERIA STOCK MARKET GENERAL COMMENT/MSCI NIGERIA PORTFOLIO MOVEMENT - AS AT 19 OCTOBER 2018

MSCI Nigeria still in the cooler. The portfolio not likely to experience any addition soon, selling resuming is highly probable.

For now, there seems to be dark cloud in the market (this is not “Ichimoku”, it is a fundamental cloud). Now I believe further fall in prices making some equities extremely cheap cannot be ruled out.

For today expected High is 32,946.34 low at 32688.17.

I am keeping my cash, if we see any good 3rd quarter result, the best we can do is just to take note of it, positive reaction by the market likely to be minimal. This bear season seems to have built a wall of Jericho around itself.

In view of the fact that some additional information on our postings will now be added, you can check our twitter handle “Target Technical Analysis”.

Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source. Also, Institutions can afford to suffer big losses without going burst compared with an individual, you cannot follow them blindly (you need to at least have some knowledge/your own plan).

N:B

1. Due to the fact so many new people are coming to this forum and may not know this use of following the “big monies that move markets”, I will be indicating why/how to use the information. This will be a permanent future of my post to reduce some comments which may prevent the people that understand the system from confusion by people who have not followed how this started. My comment for today for anybody who doubts the efficacy of following the fund is to look at my recent recommendations for the past 2 months.

2. The fund will still hold some equity, the terms of service states this. Thus no matter the condition of the market, it will not liquidate to Zero. This is an equity fund investing in the Nigeria market.

3. You cannot bear losses like the fund. The pocket of the fund is too deep. Therefore, as an individual you are not suppose to be in the market during the stock market crash. Before or during the crash, reduce your holding.

4. If you are seeing this type of data on MSCI for the first time. You may need to verify the figures. Go to my previous posts (https://www.nairaland.com/yok/posts), you will see the various sources where the data can be verified.

THE day we begin to understand the fundamentals of most businesses is the day that the cloud will be unveiled from the eyes of most nigerians...., HOW can a bank gather our colldctive sweatbas deposit and loan it out to politicians that squander it and we celebrate this people everyday on the media.....,Corporate thieves are the biggest yam eaters in this country, they are the ones looting the country dry....The looters in government are only sharing oil money, not what we sweat daily for......I AM OF THE OPINION THAT WE FORGIVE TREASURY LOOTERS AND GIVE CARPITAL PURNISHMENT TO CORPORATE THIEVES.

Report reaching me from a very reliable source has it that CAVERTON OFFSHORE SUPPORT GROUP had in the past few days acquired a helicopter PTS for €8M, through a bank facility from BPI FRANCE.
...provision was made by the THALES GROUP, and secured by the ECA branch of France.

The management of the company has also concluded and signed a new lease agreement with MILESTONE AVIATION.
There is also an expected upcoming deal with the THALES GROUP.

The breakdown to these reports and more shall be made public in due course.

Regards.

Directors of banks should be held responsible. How did this people access this loans without adequate collateral to back it up. Have you ever tried borrowing from the bank and you will see the guidelines they will give to you in order to recover their money back. But reverse is the case when it comes to giving loan to their cronies.
