I applied on the 30th of June. My application is now 16weeks and 3days. My eligibility review started when it was exactly 10weeks. Since then no update from them. I mailed them and all they kept saying was that my application is under active review. May God forgive this people cos this is the real definition of WICKEDNESS AND INEFFICIENCY. A visa application that isn't supposed to take more than 2weeks now takes almost 17weeks and no response. It will end in praises. I fully trust in God.

-You can send over your SOP and LOE if you do not mind. I just want to help proof read it.

-Also It will be good if you can post a screenshot of your GCMS NOTE (The part that shows the comment of the VO and please cover all personal details).

-Also I think it will be good to add your BSc Transcript to show courses you have offered in the past that are relating to Pharmacy (Indirectly showing the VO that you've learnt some aspect of Pharmacy before and you're not totally new to this course and the VO will also have the opportunity to see that you did well in those courses). So once you talk about it in your SOP, you will just direct the VO to your Transcript.

-I noticed that you have a total of 1M (for now) in your account for living expenses. What's the explanation to getting the rest of the funds?

-I don't see any landed property documents. I hope you solved Home ties with other factors like Family and Job prospects. Meaning they must be well ironed out in your SOP/LOE.

-Since you're going for paper route, make sure you add the birth certificate of parents and Siblings. I don't know if you're married and if you're married just add that of your husband, child(ren) and marriage certificate.

- No CV? Please add

- You can go to vfs without booking appointment, you will just have to wait to get a number after they notice that some people are not coming.

thank you very

I added my CV and Transcript. ..
my company wrote that I will come back n continue with them.... this new family form doesn't have siblings column..

Amen and Amen.

goingforward:
Hello Nairalanders,

I want to encourage you with Esther 6 vs 1-3. ''On that night the king could not sleep. And he gave orders to bring the book of memorable deeds, the chronicles, and they were read before the king.''.

I decree that a book of remembrance is opened upon our Canada visa applications this morning.

For each and every person who's timeline has elapsed and it seems that we have been forgotten, that the visa officers responsible for our applications will lose sleep until they have attended to and until our applications are favored, and our approvals are granted in the mighty name of Jesus.

vs 3, ''And the king said, “What honor or distinction has been bestowed on Mordecai for this?” The king’s young men who attended him said, “Nothing has been done for him.”

I decree that our applications right from this moment begin to receive priority and that the entire host of heaven begins to fast track it in the mighty name of Jesus.

Just as the King lost sleep until Mordecai was rewarded, as we have prayed, fasted, waited on God, I hereby decree by the power invested in me as a daughter of the most high God, that all the visa officers and staff responsible for all applications that have exceeded processing times begin to lose sleep until we are favored in the mighty name of Jesus. They will all not rest until they have done the will of God concerning our applications in Jesus name.

..... and the house shouts a thunderous AMEN!!!.

Have a miracle-filled week in Jesus name. Amen.

goingforward.

Why don't your younger brother join this thread for first hand information rather than you serving the role of a middle man. He is going for Masters which means he's matured too.

Who's your sponsor?..?
Do you plan on using the same sponsor in your previous application?

Make sure your sponsor is closely related to you (no third party) please don't repeat what they said in your previous application again.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Kriff: 9:20am On Oct 23, 2018
I was able to read the first pictures you posted and I noticed somethings.

-Recent lump sum deposited in both personal and company's account of your brother. Please give a tangible reason as to why there a recent deposit into that account. If possible show Proof that it was not deposited for the purpose of boosting the account. Then I saw something about poor quality- is it that you didn't scan the bank statements very well? All these made the VO question your sponsorship. Because the VO feels the source of the recent money inside the account is not genuine which means you won't have access to it. So if you have any recent lump sum that entered the account you're using please explain very well the source.

- You Graduated in 2015 right. Meaning almost 3 years study gap Including NYSC. Did you give tangible reasons and explanation of what you were doing within that time frame? Also the VO expected someone with that study gap to have a personal finances. So did you add your personal account?

-Lastly, your SOP is not strong enough. I feel the problem started from here. You didn't convince him enough as to why you're going for another Bachelor degree so every other thing will just call for real scrutiny. A good travel history would have helped but since you don't have any, so he wasn't convinced.

I think you have tackled some of these problems. But please send your SOP to the Gurus in the house. You need a convincing SOP.

If you want to use a third party why not tell the person to give you the money Then you run Your account in 1 or 2 weeks. (your boss).
What I mean by running your account is depositing the money bit by bit To avoid lump amount (am saying this so that you won't repeat what they said in your gcms note)
Your application is not about writing good sop or loe!

Your brother account is good to go, try and talk to your boss. Collect some money from your boss and run your account.
you can make use of your Brothers account statement and your personal account statement.

You waited for your gcms for 1 month. Please try and fix the loopholes you got from your gcms don't rush

Tell your boss you will return the money back to him maybe after you must have submitted or gotten your trv
If you tackle this sponsorship issue... You're in the right lane. (run your account by depositing bit by bit maybe 100k today, 250k next day, then you withdraw 50k, and put 300k the next day something like that. To make it easy for you, talk to your account officer or any banker around tell the person you want to run your account for visa purpose they will tell you how to do it.
See, sometimes, it is not about writing top-notch sop or loe base on what I've been seeing inside and outside this thread.

Your personal account and brothers account will scale through. SURELY
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Kriff: 9:47am On Oct 23, 2018
Boss, if I'm getting you right, you mean she should deposit the money bit by bit within 1 or 2 weeks? But I think I've seen GCMS Notes where the VO will say "Majority of the funds where deposited with a time frame that was close to the application submission date". Because the money that will be deposited within that time frame will be way above her starting balance In the SO A.
I am not trying to counter your advise but maybe i do not understand what you were saying very well.

That is why I said since the moniker waited for 1 month to get gcms
He/she should calm down and run his/her personal account.
I know 1 or 2 weeks is too short (time frame)

1 month or 3 wks we do for running account or rather the moniker should consult his or her bank.
They will direct what to do.

I may not be correct oooo abeg, am just trying to contribute on how I understand the gcms with my little knowledge.

You are good to go.
So far your brother is the main sponsor and you are the subsidiary sponsor just that, if your boss really wants to sponsor you, collect some money maybe 1 million or 500k and run it to your account so that your acc go get belle (pregnant)

Please tackle the sponsorship very very well before you submit again
Sometimes it's not about sop and Loe
And in your case, it is very clear in the gcms

Have you travelled before? And to where?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Kriff: 10:30am On Oct 23, 2018
My final advise on financials - Get the company to send your total living expenses to your account. That will solve everything since your brother is handling the tuition part and he has paid one year fees.

Then your SOP should be good too. I've replied your mail though. Goodluck.

I currently work as an admin officer, I studied physics and I didn’t specify the course I’m going for, No I am not married yet

Since you are not married yet, you need to show more social and economic ties to Nigeria. You can use your parents as ties and back it up with the submission of Justice John O' Keefe in the judicial review case Tharsini versus Canada (Citizenship and Immigration Canada) 2012 FC 1518 when the court submitted that "one can only assume the officer concluded the ties are weak due to only a single family member being in that country. However, to judge family ties solely based on the quantity of family members is to ignore the relevant factor of the strength of the child-parent bond.
