I applied on the 30th of June. My application is now 16weeks and 3days. My eligibility review started when it was exactly 10weeks. Since then no update from them. I mailed them and all they kept saying was that my application is under active review. May God forgive this people cos this is the real definition of WICKEDNESS AND INEFFICIENCY. A visa application that isn't supposed to take more than 2weeks now takes almost 17weeks and no response. It will end in praises. I fully trust in God. 1 Like |

Why don't your younger brother join this thread for first hand information rather than you serving the role of a middle man. He is going for Masters which means he's matured too. olaoluwa13: 5 Likes |

Louisanc posLo 72335863: this is my GCMS note Who's your sponsor?..? Do you plan on using the same sponsor in your previous application? Make sure your sponsor is closely related to you (no third party) please don't repeat what they said in your previous application again. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Kriff: 9:20am On Oct 23, 2018 |
I was able to read the first pictures you posted and I noticed somethings. -Recent lump sum deposited in both personal and company's account of your brother. Please give a tangible reason as to why there a recent deposit into that account. If possible show Proof that it was not deposited for the purpose of boosting the account. Then I saw something about poor quality- is it that you didn't scan the bank statements very well? All these made the VO question your sponsorship. Because the VO feels the source of the recent money inside the account is not genuine which means you won't have access to it. So if you have any recent lump sum that entered the account you're using please explain very well the source. - You Graduated in 2015 right. Meaning almost 3 years study gap Including NYSC. Did you give tangible reasons and explanation of what you were doing within that time frame? Also the VO expected someone with that study gap to have a personal finances. So did you add your personal account? -Lastly, your SOP is not strong enough. I feel the problem started from here. You didn't convince him enough as to why you're going for another Bachelor degree so every other thing will just call for real scrutiny. A good travel history would have helped but since you don't have any, so he wasn't convinced. I think you have tackled some of these problems. But please send your SOP to the Gurus in the house. You need a convincing SOP. Louisanc: |

Kriff: thank you very much... To be frank my first application I didn't put my SOP when submitting. I scanned the SOA but it was much so I shrink it to get max 4mb |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Austacus: 9:30am On Oct 23, 2018 |
Louisanc: If you want to use a third party why not tell the person to give you the money Then you run Your account in 1 or 2 weeks. (your boss). What I mean by running your account is depositing the money bit by bit To avoid lump amount (am saying this so that you won't repeat what they said in your gcms note) Your application is not about writing good sop or loe! Your brother account is good to go, try and talk to your boss. Collect some money from your boss and run your account. you can make use of your Brothers account statement and your personal account statement. You waited for your gcms for 1 month. Please try and fix the loopholes you got from your gcms don't rush My 5 kobo |

Louisanc: Tell your boss you will return the money back to him maybe after you must have submitted or gotten your trv If you tackle this sponsorship issue... You're in the right lane. (run your account by depositing bit by bit maybe 100k today, 250k next day, then you withdraw 50k, and put 300k the next day something like that. To make it easy for you, talk to your account officer or any banker around tell the person you want to run your account for visa purpose they will tell you how to do it. See, sometimes, it is not about writing top-notch sop or loe base on what I've been seeing inside and outside this thread. Your personal account and brothers account will scale through. SURELY |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Kriff: 9:47am On Oct 23, 2018 |
Boss, if I'm getting you right, you mean she should deposit the money bit by bit within 1 or 2 weeks? But I think I've seen GCMS Notes where the VO will say "Majority of the funds where deposited with a time frame that was close to the application submission date". Because the money that will be deposited within that time frame will be way above her starting balance In the SO A. I am not trying to counter your advise but maybe i do not understand what you were saying very well. Austacus: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Kriff: 9:49am On Oct 23, 2018 |
I think you have to explain why you're going for another Bachelor degree. For the SOA, that won't cause a problem again since you're opting for paper route this time. Louisanc: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Austacus: 9:56am On Oct 23, 2018 |
Kriff: That is why I said since the moniker waited for 1 month to get gcms He/she should calm down and run his/her personal account. I know 1 or 2 weeks is too short (time frame) 1 month or 3 wks we do for running account or rather the moniker should consult his or her bank. They will direct what to do. I may not be correct oooo abeg, am just trying to contribute on how I understand the gcms with my little knowledge. |

Austacus: he paid in 500k last week for me and my brother too.. I have paid for this year's tuition... $25,000 what do you think? my closing balance is 1.100m I have also printed the SOA |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Austacus: 10:05am On Oct 23, 2018 |
Louisanc: You are good to go. So far your brother is the main sponsor and you are the subsidiary sponsor just that, if your boss really wants to sponsor you, collect some money maybe 1 million or 500k and run it to your account so that your acc go get belle (pregnant) Please tackle the sponsorship very very well before you submit again Sometimes it's not about sop and Loe And in your case, it is very clear in the gcms |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Kriff: 10:30am On Oct 23, 2018 |
My final advise on financials - Get the company to send your total living expenses to your account. That will solve everything since your brother is handling the tuition part and he has paid one year fees. Then your SOP should be good too. I've replied your mail though. Goodluck. Louisanc: |

Henhy: Since you are not married yet, you need to show more social and economic ties to Nigeria. You can use your parents as ties and back it up with the submission of Justice John O' Keefe in the judicial review case Tharsini versus Canada (Citizenship and Immigration Canada) 2012 FC 1518 when the court submitted that "one can only assume the officer concluded the ties are weak due to only a single family member being in that country. However, to judge family ties solely based on the quantity of family members is to ignore the relevant factor of the strength of the child-parent bond. 2 Likes 1 Share |
