No. My earlier position is, since the Ministry of Aviation is under the Ministry of Transportation, Amaechi should be there at the commissioning at the Port Harcourt Airport as the Minister "since we don't have a Minister of Aviation". You quoted me without proving me wrong, only mentioning that there's a Minister of State for Aviation [who, as I stated, is led by his boss, the Minister of Transportation).

You said that Amaechi should be there since we don't have a minister of aviation. We have a minister of aviation and his name is Hadi Sirika, so it is wrong to say that we don't have a minister of aviation. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sirika_Hadi (also see my previous post and note the way Sirika referred to his ministry. I watched the ceremony live).

Rotimi Amaechi did not have to be there since the minister of aviation was present.

In fact, Rotimi Amaechi was at a townhall meeting in Ibadan, answering questions about the Lagos-Ibadan rail line and the Ibadan container terminal.

That was an International airport neglected by a former South South president, who uses chopper to fly to his home state after landing his presidential jet at the airport which was rated the worst airport in the world. For several years, the arrival was a tent (canopy).
