Great game yesterday from the boys. It was nice getting back to winning ways again. I was impressed with how faster we moved the ball and created chances.

Lewy haunted Wolfsburg yet again and was MOTM for me. He looked sharp and hungry. That was his best performance this season. James was also impressive.

Robben getting sent off for 2 silly offences made things a little uneasy but we saw out the game well.

Again, wonderful reaction from the boys. Let the winning streak begin!

I'm really happy for James,Getting enough minutes was all he wanted at Real but never got them. I'm really glad his getting the minutes in Bayern.Scoring goals and also creating chances.

Mehn I would love to see him in the Madrid capatal again

James has not been getting as much game time under the new coach as he did under Heynckes. Yesterday was the first time he played the full 90 minutes this season.

The stupid rotation policy employed by Kovac has been the main reason for this. Even going as far benching him in favor of the ineffective Muller and Robbery.

James himself has been expressing doubts about his future at Bayern. After a CL game against Ajax, he stormed out of the stadium just 10 minutes after full-time. I just hope Kovac's actions doesn't make him disillusioned with life at Bayern and wanting to return to Madrid.

I was actually talking about last season. He played a big role under Heynckes, so sad his been left in the shadows by Kovac. So sad Kovac doesn't see him as a man to lead that midfield trio.

I hear Ribery is out of today's game with a back problem grin grin I know it's wicked but i couldn't help it grin

There were reports of him sulking and complaining because he was left on the bench against Wolfsburg. Make im come play today na. Nonsense.

That means we might get to see Robben start today again which will not be so surprising considering he didn't play that much before he got sent off on Saturday. I can still live with that.

I would like to see one of Goretzka or Muller come in for Martinez. I feel he is too slow and Thiago does a better job at the #6.

My preferred line up would be: Neuer; Kimmich, Sule, Hummels, Alaba; Thiago; Robben, Goretzka, Muller, James; Lewy

Boring game so far. Plenty of possession but we've not been creating chances. It's like we are back to our old habits. Hopefully things change in the second half.

I'll take the win
Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by A40(m): 11:49pm On Oct 23, 2018
Robben was horrible. Jesus Christ

Javi bar the goal also didn't have a very good game tbvh

The standout guys for me were Kimmich and Rafinha ironically

The clean sheet is a positive but Ajax won too so it is looking like a straight fight between us and them

It almost feels like there is more drama off the pitch than on it nowadays. Are we seeing FC Hollywood reincarnated?

FC Hollywood is definitely back with our drama

The only positive was the result. A stronger team could have made it difficult for us

Everytime I see Jadon Sancho play for Dortmund I cry a little inside. Who are our scouts? What do they do again?

All Europa League Bundesliga teams with an excellent shot at qualifying so far. Only Neverkusen blew a 2-1 lead unfortunately

I think Leverkusen should qualify at worst as second

Zurich has 9, Leverkusen 6 the other 2 clubs have 1 point each.

Its not sure for Leipzig yet, they are in a battle for second with Celtic and they play them next. Its important for them to get a result vs Celtic

Frankfurt qualifies if they win the next game

They should be able to get at worst a draw away to Celtic. Celtic na only for their league them get mouth.

Frankfurt is the surprise package for me. Those ones are already through

Neverkusen should join them whether they sack Herrlich or not

I'm a little worried about Kimmich and how little rest he gets these days. I think he is the only outfield player yet to miss a single minute this season. Factor in, the games for the national team and you have an insane workload already at this stage of the season. The good thing is back up in Rafinha is back, and somewhere in my mind, I'm praying he steals that LB spot from Alaba. But we all know that's not going to happen.

Gameday today. We are playing at Mainz, another of Lewy's favorite customers. They've been very stingy at the back this season until they let in 4 against Gladbach last time out so it might not be a stroll in the park.

Definitely hope to see a better game than the borefest we served against AEK Athens. Muller has got to start today. I've been getting good vibes about him lately. No Robben and probably no Ribery. Expect a bit of rotation to kick in but all 3 points no less.

We just can't keep clean sheets these days, not even against a 4th division team.

Almost every shot on target against us ends up in the back of the net. I tire o!

Na this rubbish Bayern Munich wan beat Borrusia Dortmund for Der Klassiker?? I just hope that Dortmund humiliates Bayern.
They could only win 2--1 against a 4th division team. Mtcchhhwwww

Those two should just get injured jàre angry
And here I was thinking you were the new Bayern fan on the block. Turns out you were only interested because of your Bet9ja tickets. Which is not so bad as man must 'chop'. Well we here don't give a fvck.

Eeyah! So Bayern cut your ticket, kpele. Na pesin tell you say make you go carry them -1 or WBH for where boys dey do sere. Better luck next time.

Well, make sure say you carry your Dortmund -2 vs Bayern so you go chop big time. Bye, and never see you again
Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by pkasso(m): 9:13am On Oct 31, 2018
Another unimpressive outing by the team just as we struggled to beat a village team last time in the cup. Kovac is just buying time with this stretch of wins. Not much has changed since last month. The only difference is we are winning games, the performances have not improved one bit.

Na Thiago injury dey pain me pass. He has been one of the few shining lights in the team this season. He's definitely out of the Klassiker. I just pray it's not as bad as initially thought.

I must say that am disappointed with your logic. So because you can see my posts on the betting thread, you assumed that am a gambler and bayern cut my ticket? That's laughable. I haven't punted since the start of this current season and I don't intend to. So keep your assumptions to yourself.
.
So I can't criticize my team in peace again? Did you see the unimpressive outing of yesterday? Bayern Munich, a whole Bayern Munich, the champions of Germany could only beat a fourth division team 2--1. Fortuna Duesseldorf that is the whipping boys in the bundesliga won 5--1 while Bayern could only manage 2 goals.
.
And you think that this out of form Bayern team can beat a red hot Dortmund?? I don't really think so. Maybe a big whooping by Dortmund is what is going to let the management know that changes need to be made fast. And Kovac should be sacked while at it. I don't think he has what it takes to manage a big club like Bayern.
.
Am a big Bayern fan, but this current starting XI and our recent unconvincing wins are issues that needs to be solved fast. Once again, I find your assumptions very illogical.
Peace

This is a transition season. I no know why people dey get their hopes up unnecessarily. When a team makes almost €100m for market and only spends on an 18 year old from the MLS I no honestly know wetin una dey expect.

I'm sorry if I was a bit hard on you. It's not everyday you hear a supposed fan pray his team get humiliated in the biggest game of the season. All just because they are not playing well at the moment.

You are probably frustrated watching the team play this way but you are not the only one. Nobody here is happy also but we don't go turning our backs on the team. We can only hope things change for the better.

By the way, I have nothing against punting as long as it's done responsibly. I do play accumulators myself and i'm a frequent visitor on that thread also. So me saying you do punting wasn't meant as an attack on your character.

To set things straight, I apologize once again for being aggressive. You are always welcome here.

How is this a transition season when we still field wingers with a combined age of over 70? Over half of our squad will be 30+ next year. This WAS supposed to be a transition season but it's anything but.

I don't agree with your excuses. A super-club like Bayern is expected to play well and fight for all trophies, season in season out. Regardless of whatever situation we are in.

I'm expecting a big summer next season though. Hopefully we get that transition season we've been waiting for.

That is why it is a transition season. When we are still starting Ribery, Robben and their backups are Gnabry and potentially Alphonso Davies from the MLS.

By tagging it a transition season that is my way of limiting my expectations for the team. A super club we are but we are not spending like one so why we dey deceive ourselves?

No need to dey unnecessarily tension yourself is what I'm saying
