Well said. Truth is the transfer policy of the club is in shambles. It's been that way long before SAF retired.

We won't replace our old players. We won't sell off the useless ones wey don dey on ground. We will now be buying useless, semi-useless and average players just because we have money and because they are free and/or available.
And at the end of the day, we will now end up looking like a very rich Crystal Palace.

Sanchez was a swap, the wages he got was high due to the competition from City...Like Sanchez, Ramsey is a gamble but one that is worth taking...I dare say bar Pogba probably, no other midfielder in our team at present guarantees you goals...
Going forward, Matic should be a squad player if we intend to join the big league, you can clearly see Juventus and in particular, Dybala targeted him for his slow pace, Fred can play that position, so Ramsey isn't much of an uncessary addition if you look at it this way. Pereira is also an option for midfield but not McTonimay, I really do not rate the lad.

Why would you use Fred as a DM? He'll be bullied in midfield and in trying to find his feet he'll commit. Le pastor is jittery and all over the place. He's got good passing range though.

McTomm is also a CM but he needs lots of games to be ready and I don't think Jose is ready to give him that.

Do you see Ramsey as a leader in the midfield? One that's always ready to cover as much ground as possible every match day? Is he a creator? Can he open defenses?

I saw Ramsey in the Euros, 2016 and he was a monster, he led the Welsh team from midfield and in his absence, they crumbled before Portugal.

Well, you have a point but our lack of chance creation is also down to poor movement from our forwards and midfielders, one area I think Mou needs to seriously work on.
