They are reactionaries who exist only to uphold the status quo. That is until that status quo changes and then they become ardent fans of the next state of affairs.

If by tomorrow, one Col. Musa Burantashi does a coup and then carves them around River Iyiukwu. The next day, you will see them trumpeting the glories of Iyiukwu state and how it was divinely conceived.
