Hello guys, I have an HND in electrical and electronic engineering, my work experience since last 3 years has been in construction in Qatar. I'm planning to go do another diploma in a construction-related course in Canada due to my experience and the interest I have in construction and also can not further to graduate studies due to my HND certificate. Is there any chance for me getting my study permit granted?

Hi guys, to those that travel (to Canada/ USA) alot, what's your advice on booking the cheapest flight to canada to take off on the 13th of November?

What airline won't be too expensive and then what route. Should the booking be double stops or just a single stop or a direct flight will be cheaper?

I need answers please.
No insults.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Elizkemi: 6:21pm On Nov 11, 2018
Austacus:

Police clearance is needed and it should be attached in your application
And for the medical, if you go for the upfront medical, they will give you a slip showing you’ve done your medical. So the slip should be attached with your application. If you didn’t do upfront medical after applying for your visa, you’ve got to wait for medical letter to drop.

The power is not in your hand but you can simply help yourself by ordering GCMS note so that they will expedite your application and you will know the factual reasons why your application is still on background checks... If it's something you can do to fix it, lucky you, but if it's something you can't fix... Hope on God

Bless you

My 1 kobo advice to the house, if you haven't deferred your admission yet, its better you start thinking of deferring to spring term April/May as early as possible because of space, Cause as from December January spring admission will be closed.
These VOs will certainly go for winter break
December is pretty close

Bless you

If she's going for visiting or tourist visa, she doesn't need a visa for 180 days ONLY
So in your case, she needs a Visa and medical

Mercy journey in advance.
Try Expedia, Skyscanner, kayak, travelbeta (flapp) wakanow you can download the apps for your convenience then search for your flight compare the prices with all those site I mentioned, you will certainly get a fair price
You can also book directly from the air company... There are a lot of them airmaroc, EgyptAir, AirFrance, (KLM always expensive) visit their official site etc

Am afraid MAY intake would be filled up by now in most schools, anybody deferring now will be getting the SEPTEMBER resumption intake. So the prayer now is for this VOs to answer applicants before they go for winter break. Peace

Hello house. Happy sunday. Please I really your input. About to start applying to schools this month. I have Bsc in Accounting(2.1). Finished nysc april this year. Then did a 3 months Digital marketing Internship job which i really enjoyed and learnt alot.

Now I wanted to apply for a PGD/PGC in marketing management or interactive marketing communications or Advertising Account management. Just any good program related to the Digital marketing I interned as.

But a friend is saying the VO will prefer i enroll for an accounting PGD instead or Global Business Management or International Business program.

Really confused right now. My innocent mum is suggesting i start afresh with a 3years diploma in sales and advertising. But I have Bsc already and I'm 24years old which the VO might not like.

P/S: Masters is more expensive that's why i'm not considering it.

Please guys i'm begging for your suggestions my reliable consultants. Please, biko and mbok

Work permit and study permit are two different things... So which one is your brother actually going for?

In my opinion, 28 years is a BIG barrier for undergraduate studies. (for the sake of Visa)

Express entry may go well for your 28 years old brother since his primary aim is to WORK

This is Makano and not Justwise. To answer ur question, I will need to ask you some questions? 1. Does he have a first degree here in Nigeria, if yes when did he graduate?
2. If yes, why another undergraduate degree and not a Master or PGD.
3. What has he been doing since he finished his 1st degree till this present time.
I will need this answers to really answer ur question. But the truth be told, he has a very difficult task of getting a study permit going for another undergraduate degree, he will really need to convince the VOs his reason for going for an undergraduate decree. But like I said earlier, ur questions will let me guide you of the possibility of getting ur Visa. It is not impossible getting a student visa with an undergraduate admission, as we have seen peeps here getting their visa with an undergraduate admission. but its very very difficult tho. So I await ur response. Peace

Your post below does not include the specific "generic" reasons for refusing your application. It might be quite hard giving a lead without this information. In any case, the opium for some refusals reasons could just be a detailed SOP whilst some would require additional documents.

Good Morning Nairalanders,

Listen, Fear bows down to Faith!

2nd Timothy 1 vs 7: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Never condescend to Fear. The currency that God recognizes is Faith. Fear is of the Devil while Faith is of God. Fear disappears when Faith is present.

Jeremiah 32 vs 27. "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of ALL flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?’’
Absolutely nothing!

Walk in this conviction this week.

May all our Study TRV desires come through this week in Jesus mighty name.
It will end in praises and thanksgiving.

Be faith-filled.

Goingforward.
