I read it somewhere that Access is terrible at acquisition. How far that is true, I dont know, but no acquisition has been known to go smoothly like we do envisage. My opinion anyway.

So looking at it from the diamond-access perspective, if it is 30 diamonds to 1 access, then:
1.28 * 30 = 38.40k to one unit of access, which is 7.70 as at present.

As at that time, the price difference per share BTW access and intercontinental banks was not much.
I bought intercontinental bank for #13.50k /share in 2006 and bought access bank at #14.90k/share in 2007.
So, it may not be same ratio as the previous acquisition if it happens BTW diamond bank and Access bank.
