Just ask your parent the cost of food stuff and other commodities before PDP came to power in 1999 and stop comparing it with the period when Buhari took over in 2015. If not for Buhari, Nigeria for just look like the present condition of Venezuela.

If you are not grounded on economic dynamics, dont bother venturing into it.. you speak so much about asking parents, its obvious you are still a kid... if you were grown enough physically and intellectually, facts rather than parents would cloud your mind..

Was the minimum wage not shifted accordingly to accommodate cost of living during the periods between 1999 and 2015?

Why was Nigeria rated 3rd fastest growing economy in 2013?

Why were we rated happiest in the world in 2011? Are happy people hungry people?

Petrol was sold in the US in 1980 for $0.36, now its $2.58 which is over 1000% increase, guess their economy is ruined aswell?..

You lack facts, move along with your tales by moon light propaganda story..

My friend buhari was never prepared for this presidency. He has no economy blueprint. As long as dollar is exchanged for 365 naira things will continue to be bad for Nigerians and good for politicians/FG.They earn in dollars (oil, importation payment etc).check how much it is to clear a car from our port, how many people can afford Belgium cars this days? If you want to lock up a tap you have to ensure you have plenty of water in storage that would take care of your needs.

SaintLucia:
Why did you omitted Buhari regime from 1983-85? Buhari/Idiagbo met petrol at 20Kobo and still left it at 20Kobo. The only regime that did not increase the price of petrol.

Like I said ask your parent how the country was in 1999 before PDP came to power. Ask them whether the refineries were working or not during Buhari/Idiagbo regime and why the previous governments after Buhari/Idiagbo regime continue to increase the price of petrol.

I'm sure you are born in the 90s. Just ask your parent what were the valued of our currencies especially the coins and the cost of living before the 4th Republic under your PDP. Just do that and you will know whether Nigeria was really moving forward or backward.

MrAJQ:
*Saturday Election: Five journalists on a hatchet job for Saraki*

We have been reliably informed that there are five male journalists contracted by the PDP top hierarchy for Saraki to write false reports on this election after PDP might have lost the election.

They have been given observer tags which they will wear to the polling stations. Sensing defeat at the polls these men on hatchet mission will conjure reports that will undermine the process.

The public is by this report alertred to the antics of the anti- democratic forces led by Senator Bukola Saraki.

Electorates are enjoined to come out and exercise their civic duty on Saturday without any fear of intimidation from PDP hatchet men.

*APCSituationReport*

If there are observers and they report what they see, I don't see anything wrong with it except you the evil doer is sensing that someone will report your evil.

Jonathan – Feb, 2015 N97 to N87 (price drops 10.31%)
Buhari – May 11, 2016: N87 to N145 (66.67%)
Yar’Adua was the only president who did not increase pump price of fuel. He reduced it from N75 to N65.

We had no problem buying fuel at N87 as purchasing power was equivalent.People could full their tanks during the last regime but go and fine out now as I know you hardly leave your house since you are a old man. People can hardly put Quater liter of fuel in their cars. Alot of people have abandoned their cars and Mr integrity that removed fuel subsidy telling us that it was for our good so our refineries can work we are in 2019 and yet we are still importing. Why make people suffer.

If you deduct 31.21% from 116.92%=85.71% that's the highest increase on fuel in the History of Nigeria and this happened under GEJ... What is your Point?

You see why I said you should ask your parent how the country was before PDP came to power. All what you mentioned above was because the PDP never had a clear policy, none of them ever think of diversification of the economy. All they do what to import anything importable including toothpick and other things that can be produce locally which could have strengthen our currency and improve our foreign exchange. I'm sure you one of those born in the 90s. Buhari/Idiagbo left the refineries, Nigeria Airways, Nigeria Shipping Lines, Nitel etc. #20 naira was our highest denomination currency. Our economy and currency was strong then because we hardly import things we can naturally produce here. But the moment your PDP strong people like Babaginda introduced "SAP" the same people condemning Buhari then you should know some people are really crazy to still blame Buhari. Nigeria was self sufficient in food production then and that is the same thing Buhari is doing now. But people like you want quick solution because you are used to free flow of money under PDP.
