I recently fell into the hands of this so called domainking.ng, I lost closed to 25,000 to them without any refund. I am very broke right nw and I needed a free host to keep going.
Can someone please advise if its ok to use to host my thanks.

is a good blogging platform but If you're looking at monetizing the blog, then i'll suggest blogger instead. It makes the integration of adsense easier.

blogger will be ur best bet.... if you know your way around it you'll love it

WordPress has lots of limitations except you want to use wp self hosted version otherwise I will advice you to use blogger blog

OP... with the situation on ground, u need blogger not WordPress...Blogger is owned by google so figure it out... Just register cheap domain name at web4Africa, and host it via blogger...using WordPress is like moving from fry pan to fire.

Even he may encounter scalability issue with a self hosted WP later if d number of his unique visitors outgrow his bandwidth nd he doesn't av enuf fund to scale. I think blogger is d best option 4 a beginner. When he starts making reasonable income, well, he can self host.

Thats true but that doesn't still stop him from venturing into Self-hosted WordPress but i would advise he should be financially ready

In my opinion, do self hosting. Find a better hosting service. I have some websites hosted on domainking and they all have one issue or the other, now I plan on moving them to whogohost. Try them.

With self hosting your site with wordpress.org,you have the ability to customize your website the way you want it. And there are alot of plugins to help enhance the functionality of your website. For example, for SEO, you need a plugin like Yoast SEO.
