Goodevening all,please my little daughter of three years came back from school with a torn panties,and the next day we had to go to her school to lay our findings but was told by the teacher that the nail in her chair may have caused it.Today she came back home and when she wanted to urinate we noticed her pp was paining her so we check and check only to discover a little cut by the side of her pp,by then everyone in their school had left,and when I made contact with the head teacher she told me she was surprised but that we should hold on till Wednesday since tomorrow is public holiday.Pls who can help me out on the right way to confirm if my daughter has been tampered with,I will be very glad,thanks

Take her to a hospital let an examination be conducted on her by a gynaecologist/paediatrician. I hope she is intact God willing.

Though, even if it was nail, i wonder why the seating place of an infant should be that dangerous and nothing was done about it. All these money wey all these schools dey charge, still they cannot do the minor needful.

Take your daughter to the hospital asap and if your suspicion is confirmed, involve the Police.

Please, you should also endeavour to lecture your kids about their body parts.Tell them that no one should touch their private part, and if any one should tamper with it, they should report to you immediately.

Every day when bathing her I remind her how precious that place is, and no body is permitted to touch d place.

The world has been evil from inception. In the days gone by, nobody want to discuss sexual abuse and its effects...everything is hush hush but thank God for social media and its annonymity, at least people can voice out their opinions and seek clarifications without victimization. Many people I grew up with were abused one way or the other...some of which the parents are oblivious of.

3 yrs is old enough to tell u what happened if she is intelligent, just pett her and she will give u the clue as to what happened

My two cents

Firstly, ask your three-year-daughter what happened? I guess three-year-olds can talk. Aside that, you should be your daughter' best friend. She should be giving you details of her day in school even without asking.

Secondly, take your daughter to the hospital for examination.

Thirdly, the teacher needs to be questioned seriously. If her pant is torn why isn't her school uniform torn also?

Lastly, the next time you visit the school, go with your husband and probably a police officer (in mufti). And if the case doesn't turn out like it seems, abeg change school for your child. That environment isn't safe.

As the preventive measure was not in place from the start, are you implying that the case, if confirmed to be true, should not be documented at the Police Station for prosecution?


Of course, if it has happened, it cannot be undone even if the case is taken to the court of law.


For your information, even when there are preventive measures in place, it does not ALWAYS provide 100% protection against pedophiles.
