MONSTA X: Are You There? Album review.

I love MONSTA X.
They're my number 2 group. Shownu shook his chest into my life!!!!
Then Jooheon was like, "hold my beer", and rapped my clothes off!!!!!! Kikikikikikiki.

Anyways, enjoy and if you listen to the songs, please tell me what you think.

Let's do this.

Intro: I actually like this a lot. It's not a song at all but it could be. No score though but I like it a lot.

Some songs fall into the same category so I'll just explain it and mention them.

I call this category ASTRO songs.

Astro can sing no doubt but 90% of their songs fall into a certain category.
The cutesy boys category. It's not as bad as the girl's version but it's just there. Forgettable at times too.
I don't think MONSTA X voices and concept fit these type of songs and even though some parts are quite nice and Jooheon tries to rescue each song with a tight rap, it's still a Nope, next!!!! for me.
My introduction to MONSTA X doesn't allow for accepting AVERAGE songs.
Anyways, they all get a 1.5/5.

1. By My Side.
2. Heart Attack.
3. Underwater. This one gets to 2/5 though. It's a bit better than the rest.
4. I Do Love U.

5. Myself: Now this is a slow song that FITS them. Not Astroish at all.
There's a lot of falsetto going on, which I'm not really a fan of but if it doesn't bother you, you'll like it.
The rap is good too, as usual. 2.5

6. Oh My: This is the party anthem.
It sounds like something Jennifer Lopez would be a part of. I love it!!!!!!!!
They obviously had so much fun recording it, plus the gun cocking and whatever Jooheon is saying!!!!!!!!
He's shouting and I'm here for it!!!!!!!!!
I love this song!!!!!!!!!
Dare I say a 4.5/5?!!!!!!!!
I encourage you to listen to this song.
It sounds like a World Cup Song!!!!!!!!!!
But it's a love song!!!!!!!!!

7. Spotlight: I like this one too.
It's a nice kpop song. The rap adds the extra spice. You'd remember the chorus too. 2.5/5.

8. Mohae: This is the THE EVE song on the album!!!!!! It's so sexy!!!!!!!!
The way the beat goes, the voices, the passion in the rap, this song is a hit.
*there are some 'eh, say what?' moments in Jooheon's rap though*
*also, the high note cuts off weird too*
But this song is a YES!!!!!!!!!!!!
Such a grind on your bae track!!!!!!!!!*my lips are sealed*
4/5!!!!!!!!!

Finally,

9. SHOOT OUT: I'll never get over how struck I was by the intro of this song.
It's actually the best one on the album for a music video. The rap MURDERS this song. The chorus had to grow on me though.
In all, a SOLID SONG, VERY SOLID!!!!!!
4/5 is well deserved.

In summary, I feel like the album should be split into two mini albums.

1-4 in one album would get a 1.5/5.
The intro plus 5-9 would get a 3.5/5.

I feel the same way about most of what you said. However for me, I'll switch the ratings for myself and oh my. I really love myself.....pun intended. But it just does it for me. I think I like songs better when I hear them sang casually with little or no backup(background music) and they did that on a show with myself so it sold me.

As for songs just Google the song title and artist and follow the results.

For kpop/kdrama stories check soompi.com, dramabeans.Com, koalasplayground.com, allkpop.com( allkpop are not so reliable sha, but they're still OK), koreaboo.com, and trusty old Wikipedia, Twitter and Instagram fanpages also help , there are many others sha but you'll figure it out when you start

If you're using laptop it's pretty easy, just go to dramafire.info, I prefer using rapidvideo links, copy the link of the drama you want to download then on another tab go to https://convert-video-online.com/ paste the link in the url and convert, after converting, you can change the resolution to 360p and reduce the size, you'll see something like a measuring tape, you can download lower than the size it starts from but it won't be clear so I'll advise you download a size that is visible on the "tape", if you are using phone it's almost the same thing but you have to begin downloading from dramafire so that you can pause and copy the link, it's easy to do on operamini, after copying the link, you paste it as usual on the conversion site, the only thing is the site doesn't work on mini browsers so you have to use Google Chrome or any browser your phone came with. I really hope you understand this long story, if you are confused, you can let me know.

If you don't mind watching not so clear videos, use kissasian.sh, download through the fb option, the sizes are small and you don't have to disturb yourself with conversion

It's not historical. But it centered on a king, Empress and revenge. I love lengthy but interesting dramas too. I also love revenge dramas.

I loved this drama by the way and I still love it till this day, I had seen almost all the versions that have been made, I still rewatch episodes of the Korean version and the Japanese version, especially the end scene where Jan di fell into the pool and also where jun pyo pretended to be dead. I loved Jun pyo’s hair, I loved that he looked like a complete idiot hahahah, he was perfect for the character. I loved most of the ost as well...

This was the drama besides Jumong and made me fall in love with dramas (how could boys be that beautiful, how is it that I am enjoying this thing when I don’t even understand without read subs that where too fast for me to follow at the time were two of my many thoughts).
