Lexusgs430: We're looking at different options (1 bedroom, studio flat, and also an HMO), depends on which we're finally able to secure. I'm just getting ready prior in preparation of what our option finally is. |

readynow:Yes I've done my NI interview and GP registration, i was able to do the NI interview because i printed the email between me and the home office and my hubby also wrote introduction letter,I could not do my provisional licence because of my BRP. I received my BRP today, I was given 2 years instead of two and half years. How much did they charge you for NHS subcharge? |

OK gurus, I think I have a massive problem on my hands, I need your help! We were waiting for Hubby's 6th month payslip to start our application, he got it and we discovered that alongside pension plan, unpaid sick leave was deducted before gross, and this put us under by £40. Also, the overtime he did that would have made up for it wasn't included Please is there anyway around this at all rather than starting the count from the very beginning? |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Minnienellie24: 4:35pm On Nov 23, 2018 |
Veacon: I would advise you wait another one month if the payslip for the next month can cover up for any discrepancies. (This is on the assumption that the total gross for the 6 months would be added together to make £9,300 or more..) |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by readynow: 1:46am On Nov 24, 2018 |
Priorygroup: i dont understand why you were given 2 years instead of 33 month, did the letter that accompany the visa state 2years.my visa was 33 month and that should reflect on the brp i believe not 2 years.is any one in this position too or i am i missing something out |

Veacon: That is usually after gross pay, have your husband gotten a letter from his company for the visa application? Has he worked for a year in that company? |

Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Veacon: 8:07pm On Nov 24, 2018 |
justwise: Both (unpaid sick leave and pension) were deducted before gross pay. No he's yet to get the letter, it was supposed to be gotten after we got his 6th payslip, then this came up. No, he's not worked for a year, He joined the company in May this year. |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by readynow: 2:10pm On Nov 26, 2018 |

Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by justwise(m): 2:12pm On Nov 26, 2018 |
Veacon: Please don't be in a rush to apply to avoid refusal, wait until the requirement is met |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Veacon: 3:04pm On Nov 26, 2018 |
justwise: Hi Justwise, Thank you for your response. He's been with the same company for 6 months (May) and counting (still with d company), and has earned more than the required £18600 annual rate, so I'm a bit confused on what you mean by "wait till we meet the requirement". Please help me elaborate further. Thank you |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by justwise(m): 4:59pm On Nov 26, 2018 |
Veacon: Ok if he has earned that much then he can apply and meet the financial requirement either through salary or through savings or both. If he has £16000 in his account now then he is good to go. A letter from his company will state his annual salary too. |

Good day please help, made a mistake on the online application where they stated if it was my first passport I clicked yes and it's not my first passport just noticed that now, what should I do cause I have done my biometrics and submitted my supporting documents? What should I do |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Veacon: 8:04pm On Nov 26, 2018 |
justwise: Thank you. I think I need to clarify more. He earns £20000 annually which brings his salary to £1660 + monthly (plus comes from overtime) He started working with his present company in May and we were working towards applying this December, but his November salary fell short (£1510) because sick pay was deducted and his overtime pay (£250) wasn't added either. My question is, following the error on the payslip (omitted overtime pay), which should increase his November earning to £1760, is there a solution to this? 1. Getting the company to reissue a new payslip with the correction. OR 2. we apply in January, then get the company to indicate on the letter they will give him, his earnings, and that there was an error in the November payslip, and also write a signed and stamped note on the payslip indicating the error and what the correct amount is supposed to be and how the correction has been reflected in his December Salary payslip. What do you think? |

For your information... Increase in IHS fee has been approved and will be implemented anytime soon. IHS fees have now doubled. Spousal applicants pay £200 but will now be £400 only https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukdsi/2018/9780111172995/article/3 |
