She hates it whenever I leave her alone. It's not my fault, I can't carry her everywhere I go. She likes sleeping as close to my legs as possible, and she gets scared of a lot of things, sudden noises, jerky movements, but she is the bravest dog whenever I am around.

She eats a lot of fish,Turkey,beans and solids in general... She’s quite picky and has seasons for food she eats... Btw she can beg for Africa.... I think the way you feed and take care of your pup is what matters and that’s what they might ending growing into.... That's nice, I read a lot of theories online about how to keep your lhasa apso disciplined and we'll behaved, because they can get aggressive when you spoil them too much and when they have access to everything they want(toys, food, water, attention, playtime), makes them believe they are the boss and can behave as they please, which can escalate to a dominant behavior that seems aggressive....

Spanking helped a lot but it wasn’t too much... This days I don’t need to talk to her,if she’s naughty,a cold stare is all I need bro... I just stare at her and show how much I disapprove of whatever she just did and jejely she’d walk into her crate... To avoid extra punishment... She’s a smart girl by guess what bro,she shit in my room before I woke up this morning and guess what again,it was my fault.. She woke me up several times but I was extremely tired to stand up and take her outside... Responsibility is key ...

My puppydog has not used a month with me...

The cost depends on you, if u wld include canned food, it would be higher cost on you.

But the medication is about 5k per months, until 6 months old, when they get medicated quarterly or so....

For food you would spend 1k per week, depending on if u wld feed it formulated food, if not, u won't spend more than you are already spending on yourself for home cooked food.

It's a beautiful day today. My pup took her 3rd shot of dhpp and leptospira vaccination, growth booster and dewormer.

At 5 months old(February) , she would take her anti rabies vaccines.

She weighed 5lb(2.27kg) today at 11 weeks of age.

You wan turn the dog to stoner

Everyday my pup always try to jump unto the sofa. She has never successfully climbed to the top of the sofa on her own, until this morning... She kept jumping until she eventually climbed to the top of the sofa, wow I was impressed.

My only worry is her feeling like a boss, or changing behavior because she is allowed to stay on the sofa now, I will keep observing her behavior.

So something very funny happened today, we were all siting in the parlor watching movie when Beverly started humping the teddy bear she plays with. It was so funny, she is just 3 months old, didn't know puppies as young as that could start humping...
By the way, she now weighs 7lb(3.17kg), which is a perfectly healthy weight for her breed and age, I checked online.

Lhasa apso puppy of 3months old should weigh between 2.5 to 3.6kg.

I feed her dry food(diamond puppy, pureluxe) , soft canned food(pedigree puppy, jojo puppy, nutroplan puppy, happy chooper(doesn't eat that anymore) , fish, meat, chicken, chicken bones(soft part) , cow bone(soft part and cartilage only), whole egg, egg shell, salad(rarely), yogurt(rarely), vitzyme multivitamins tablets, vitzyme cod liver oil.

She also get primo pup vet health dental fresh water addictive for dogs added to her water daily(she drinks a lot). She get bathed with Hartz groomer's best dog shampoo extra gentle whitening shampoo cherry blossom scent twice a month. In between her baths she get sprayed with animology pet care excellence mucky pup no rinse puppy shampoo(for quick hygiene, without using water).

She also has Johnson's Veterinary flea and tick collar for dogs which would last for 4 months. She has completed her 3rd vaccination shots, deworming, multivitamin and growth booster.

She has been socialized with everyone(men, women, children, dogs, animals) in the street and neighborhood.

She attended the DogFest that took place recently at Ikeja Alausa, where she got to socialize with different breeds of dogs, and some cats. She gets to play and run around the house, occasionally around the compound, she has a number of toys consisting of treat dispensing chew toys, lots of rubber balls,table tennis balls, 3 knots tug rope,soft plastic balls, hard plastic balls, teddy bear, a sleeping pillow and a small carriage.

She has her grooming set which consist of metal comb, dog brush and dog razor.

So today, I left my pup at home alone for more than 5 hours, but I took some tips I read online for preventing boredom in dogs left alone. I stuffed her treat dispensing chew toy with lots of diced meat and diced ponmo, left all her toys out, her food and water in the bowl, then left.

When I came back, she had successfully eaten half of the treats in the chewtoy, I was surprised she persisted long enough(it's mentally tasking for a dog to get the treats out of the chew toy)... She was really excited to see me, and was excited for close to 5minutes before calming down. I gave her a piece of chicken bone with some chicken flesh on it... She seemed at peace and satisfied....

We had a male visitor this evening, and I noticed how curious she was towards the visitor. The visitors was scared of the small pup and was trying to prevent her from getting close, she started acting suspicious and barking occasionally. I tried distracting her with her tug and redirecting her attention. Whenever she has been off leash for hours during the evening, she gets hyperactive and excited, and begin to act like a drunk and mad dog, running frantically biting anything that touches her...

It was at this point the visitor decided to leave, when she almost bit him, he left out of fear of getting bitten.

Even though I tried to make her calm with the visitor, by giving him the tug to play with the pup, she was still apprehensive...

I do try my best to socialize her by taking her to different houses to meet other families as much as possible. I hope she doesn't develop any unfriendly behavior in future...

. She was teething at his feet and wagging seriously, until the visitor jumped out of the house, she ran after him thinking he was playing chase, she wouldn't let anyone catch her when she is outside.

She didn't bark, and she wasn't aggressive to the visitor we had today, she was just extremely playful, it scared the visitor away.

So I guess yesterday's case was because the visitor had a bad energy(being scared and nervous), making the pup suspicious.

So everyday, I will try my best to race her round the compound.

Yesterday I discovered vinegar is very good for dogs with different uses and benefits. I got the vinegar today, diluted it and used it to rinse her, to remove any flea, tick or parasites she might have. It also made her look cleaner, and less itchy. Read it has a lot of health benefits when they drink it in their water bowl. I will start applying it henceforth.

You need to learn to introduce your dog to people... Especially those scared of dogs....
