Gm All, But honestly speaking, Whats really going on? So many May/June/July applicants have not gotten any updates on their applications and we are going into the second week of December, by the 3rd week this cic people will start going for Winter break and will probably resume by next year which means most of the May/June/July applicants wont resume this January again after deferring their admission from September. Is it that these VOs are intentionally not responding to Nigeria applicants that applied between May to July? Cos as we all know September, October and November Applicants are already getting Updates. I was thinking all along that this Study Permit stuff is a First come first serve tingy, but with what is happening now, that is not the case at all. Its really frustrating and annoying waiting this long, sending them several mails and up till this moment no updates of any kind, Its not that my life is tied to this Canada stuff cos I am working full time (Which is big distraction from all this rubbish wait) but i just had to say this cos its really getting out of hand and nobody is doing anything about it, they (CIC) are not even telling us anything about why their is delay in the MAY/JUNE/ JULY applications. All I know is that this people(CIC) should just compensate every applicant that have waited over 5 Months with an approval, cos thats the only genuine thing that can make us feel very great. For them to keep us this long, they shouldnt even think of a refusal. If by Month end I dont receive my approval, then............... Let me keep that to myself.. It shall end in praise. Peace

I will advise you to apply to another school as a second option because those people are time wasters...
CuteCeo:
Hi guys. I have a BSc. SO I applied for Post graduate diploma at College of the North Atlantic, Newfoundland. The first-semester tuition is about $4000. I am self-sponsored. If I am not mistaken, having 10k cad after school fees in my account. Is that Ok?

Also, do I wait for admission before I apply for Visa?
Is there anyone here that has applied or in the same school? How long will it take for the admission to get approved?

Your president is mocked on foreign TV shows for being cloned. If they could disrespect your president, who are we the applicants? They have no respect for any Nigerian. The earlier we realize this, the better for us all. So I'm not shocked by their disrespectful behavior towards our applications. It shall end in praises

Hmmm that's Jimmy kimmel. He has done the same to trump, Kim jong un, putin, obama, Hillary Clinton etc people that are far bigger than Buhari

US is all about freedom of speech unlike here in Nigeria.

I applied to the School and it took about 5 Months to get their admission letter and their international office delays in responding to emails. Also, you must send your transcript by post to them before you will be considered for admission. Their admission fee is $100 with another non-refundable registration fee of $97 once they finally give you the admission.

I applied to both schools at the same time and I got admission from New Brunswick Community College in 2 weeks while the other school College of the North Atlantic took almost forever. I have already applied for my Visa before they reached out to me (after 5 Months).

Yes, their tuition fee is very cheap but my advice to you is '' apply to several schools so you can use the other admission Letter if they delay you like me".

Hello all, so I arrived Toronto just now, passed border, immigration, collected SIN and waiting for RobertQ bus to take me to London.

And a wonderful Nairalander offered (infact 2 people) to take me from the bus park in London to the hotel provided for me by my school for 2 nights.

I will give full details of everything when I settle in my hotel later today. God bless nairalanders, the show of love is out of this world. Infact someone even offered to drive all the way from London to Toronto to come pick me from the airport to my hotel.

God bless Nairaland, God bless seun. Thank you once again to all those who have contributed on this thread, God bless you all.
