Layooye: It's a pity some of you are quick to ask for questions and seek for answers about visa application but as soon as you get approved of the visa you guys find it heavy and difficult to share with us the documents and timeline of your application. it helps to calm the nerves of others, it encourages us and it make us to understand better on how to tackle IRCC. I've seen 5 people that did that in this thread. No offense taken of given (driving to experience13) Peace 7 Likes |

Good afternoon, I am new on this platform and will like to ask certain questions here. I submitted my application on the 7th is September few days after the application was open to University of Victoria and University of Calgary. I applied for Masters of Educational Psychology at University of Victoria and Masters of Science (Thesis Based) Counseling Psychology at University of Calgary. I have a bachelors degree in Counseling Psychology from Babcock with a second class upper(4.17). I will like to know what my chances are, because according to both schools, it is a competitive course so they review all applications at once and then send the offer letter in February 2019. For the Masters program in University of Calgary I reached out to a potential supervisor even though the school said they’ll assign successful candidates to a supervisor, but I felt having a prior conversation will aid the admission process. Please is there anyone from the two schools or have any idea has to what my chances are. I know nobody can really tell but from experience I will like to have answers please. Thank you |

you should first of all show a very close and familiar relationship with your sponsor, it seems he is a an immediate family member...Then from what i was told when i was applying for mine and profile seen even here, Canada doesn't just to see big money in your account. they want to see how you make this money and how often you have it..so for a sponsor with his personal business it goes a long way if he or she can include some transaction payment receipts, signed invoice, contract letters etc..not just cac documents. i got to know someone here that had thesame issue but she finally got it after hers was approved..but personally i think you should go ahead to request for it at all cost...firstly, its on record you have applied once and if you want to reapply you definitely need to state that and also you need to know the documents they used for the denied application, hoping they did not use any incriminating documents, this might actually affect your re-application whether with a new profile or not, they keep records. its absurd they wouldn't give you access and ownership to what is yours because its all your personal and private documents you submitted there, since there was no written agreement that they will keep the profile, they have no right or case against your request to get it. truth be told these guys might just have done nothing worth paying them for...as for your fees refund, if you are going to reapply why ask for refund? just defer and most schools will refund if you showed them the refusal mail from cic and all you have to do is mail them through the contact mail you have been using to contact them, i hope its the your personal mail not the agency mail. goodluck sopho: |

PPR!!!! I saw a post about people only posting when they are denied visa and not when they are approved and I felt bad because it is actually true. Anyways I joined nairaland after I submitted my application however, I will state what I did to ease my application I applied on the 3rd of October 2018, did my biometrics on the 9th of October. Then on the 25th of October I checked my portal and sa my medicals has been updated to passed. [b]I applied online and I did upfront medicals[/b Then on the 28th of November my eligibility review started, I got a biometrics validity correspondence later same day. Then on the 1st if Decmeber which is a Saturday I got my PPR. I didn’t even know they respond to people on the weekend Anyways to the important part my documents SOA of 11m I paid my tuition of CAD7,800 I put my father’s companies certificate of incorporation. My father was my sponsor I put his sponsorship letter My bank statement was for 6 months there was also a letter on the statement from the banks stating my father is the sole owner of the account and some other information I can’t remember I also put my fathers certificate of ownership for a land I then put two different valuation documents for a house in lagos and ph Then for the other information I put my SOP which was very detailed. I studied economics as my Bsc and I’m going for masters in economics which makes my case very easy to explain. I also worked in a good company practicing economy’s I put my present companies offer letter, WAEC, some NYSC documents because at that time I was still doing my NYSC. I put my transcript, TOEFL result because in one of the forms online I was asked if I had taken the English proficiency exam and I selected yes so It made a lot of sense to include that in my document. I got 96/120 in my toefl. I prayed and prayed and prayed. I checked my portal everyday until I got the PPR. Thank God for good news. It shall end in praise for every other applicant. 12 Likes |

So I received my passport and this paper today after being Denied on the 19th of last month, VFS and their nonchalant attitude just dumped my parcel, not until yesterday i made contacts and these idiots sent me sms and mail in not more than 30 mins. Well I have applied for GCMS and hoping I get it around this time next month to know the detailed reason they gave. I have to wait. God will see us tru. Cheers y'all.

Sorry for news bro. That's the spirit. Get your GCMS and refire. God would save Nigerians from the hands of these merciless Nairobi VO. I think what these people are doing now is unethical. How can someone submit an application and it is rejected for the same reason 2ce and third time it is approved for example while nothing significant has changed. Is that not wickedness and greediness? How den take better pass Nigerian police nah? Alinkoo: |
