The topic is very funny. It's not like you're being forced to patronise them. If you think they're not worthy of your patronage, you simply stop patronising them. Simple as that.

The problem you are facing is a technical one. Too bad they've not come to your aid. I think you should go to any of their offices close to you and place a complaint.
kids have taken over Nairaland that it makes me wanna puke. so u think if not for kids I an adult will find it hard to stay without pay TV? or even though your useless life is yet to bring forte kids the thought never occurred to you that children needs something to educate themselves at home??

If multichoice is giving you issue you can point to NIGCOMSAT FREE TO AIR. The content is not bad at all. 42.5 E 12518H 29500.
Nigerians keep having repeated problems from companies especially service providers to government because we always fall to alternatives. Instead of investigating issues pointed out and addressing problems you're suggesting another junk. How are you sure that unlabelled NIGCOMSAT is better than multichoice? Am disappointed.

When you compare against having a paid subscription, they are much cheaper on the long run.....
I disagree sir. data is still expensive if purchased legally. if you have to stream content on mobdro for say 6hrs daily, you won't consume less than 1.2gb to 1.5gb! do the maths on how much that will cost in a month versus ds.thieves costliest bouquet.

Must you use them? Startimes et al provide better service and are customer friendly and faithful. Addiction to Premier League Matches needs to be cured.

Lol, I use free to air with my HD SRT strong decorder. Great stations if you point to a satellite with great contents

What's great about it is you can connect as many LNB's you want and connect to multiple satellites. I dumped pay TV 2years ago and would never look back

To say the fact, multichoice is an exploitative company in Nigeria in which the body that needs to checkmate their excessive behavior are no where to be found. Let's forget the home users you have many alternatives but in the case of those who are using it for a business in terms of view centres doesn't have other options. They seized their next work, clashing of machetes and many more. With all these disappoinments no apology or compensation.
May God safe us from DSTV

So what do you watch? I mean alternative?

Poor man. You still in addition to their poor services buy fuel daily to enable you watch your television. Don't you think that you are a great looser? How many of your family members are working with multichoice that you have become their milk cow? I boycotted them long time ago when I found out that they work hand in hand with our government officials to reap us off.

So exploitation and poor service delivery by TV providers should not be raised because there's the option of not using DStv/gotv?

And it never occurred to you that people paid for their services before discovering the delivery and offer isn't as promised. So they should just port to the next TV services provider? And the cycle continues!

People like you are a huge problem for Nigeria and the world at large.

What a way to reason!

I think they call my 1.5mm or what, it's the biggest dish with 3 LNB's on it. Each LNB connects to a different satellite, so I'm connected to 3 different satellite from this setup

And I don't know much about names of satellite or even names of the ones I'm pointed to now but the engineers knows, just tell them to point you to satellites with Interesting contents that's all
