toboy: punishments is punishment you have to start from day 1 He breaks a cup, he is not getting another one in a while, nor using cups When you use what Yoruba people call "Abo"" for two good weeks the chikd will know better than to break cups You break the bulb in ur room, you all will be in darkness for a while (scare them a lil bit too, next time, they will be careful You did not do your chores No goodies for you plus extra punishments You did not wake up in time to wash the car young man you are TREKKING TO SCHOOL You pick a fight on the street (my God! you are FINISHED!) The list is endless tho I'm just giving specific examples, and one has to be flexible about this The way I wrote it up there is not law, just an illustration Just make sure that bad behaviours do not go unpunished FROM DAY 1 |

Babyvet: Many of them dont read the news For labour shortage, the EU is looking at eastern europe not Africa in US and Canada, they are looking at the western world and asia not Africa, canada are trying to make sure Nigerians dont come to their country. https://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2018/05/05/canada-desperate-to-stop-nigerians-from-coming-to-country/ when will africans especially Nigerians realized that every odd is against them. you see their govt coming to Africa and sponsoring skill acquisitions training for many young people, they know what they are doing, they are preparing for the future, a future without Africans in it. |

But this country you so badly want to stay and build, will you succeed? Will Tinubu let you get to a position to make effective laws? Can you question your leaders? Will your vote actually count? You say there's good healthcare in Nigeria. Give me the name of Nigeria's best equipped hospitals let's open their can of worms. I worked in the health sector and I can confidently tell you that all you have is a sham. Your MoH was passing a circular in 2018 that there's an instrument called ophthalmoscope. In 2018! Let me tell you again why we leave. People are lawless and no one bothers. My street was constantly being blocked by a man who had connections. The residents association wrote to LASEMA but because he's a big man, we were held to ransom. I almost died having my son because 1. I called 112 and they asked if my neighbor can drive me to the street where there closest point was. 2. Baba Rich man had blocked everywhere with his trucks and no one could drive through. I was in labor, fully dilated and having a breech baby. The Royal 112 of Lagos didn't think of how I'd need a stretcher, whether I had a trained paramedic neighbor or whether I was in distress. 3. Said baby was born, but on the floor of my bathroom by inexperienced neighbors. At least they tried. I was bleeding, my daughter was watching me pass out and my husband was confused because 112 was playing their hold on music instead of actually doing what they're paid to do. 4. Said baby was jaundiced, but six hospitals, LUTH, Massey, MC&C Gbaja, OHC, Island Maternity and May clinic didn't have the capacity to start phototherapy. We had to go to Lifeline Children's hospital on Ogunlana drive. Admission deposit was N500, 000. That's what every Nigerian can afford yea? In April of 2017, I discovered a lump in my right mammary gland. I got an appointment to see a gynecologist and them was referred to SOPD. The government hospital was going to take out the lump and cut off the body part. No tests! I ran to a private hospital, paid through the nose to have the lump tested, taken out and I know I'm in the clear. Let me not even start with those ones that started me on cryotherapy even when my cervix was okay. When you say you want to build a country, the country has to have a system willing to work. I just want to know that if my daughter gets into the university, there's an expected graduation date and she can study fine arts because she feels like it, not because her slot for law was given to someone who paid but doesn't deserve it. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

I think you should give everyone a chance to answer. You asked why we think we can only make it abroad, we answer and you keep attacking us and refuting facts. My cousins and I have immigrated to different continents. Not one of us landed here and start d doing survival jobs. In my church, we have lots of professionals and white collar workers. The ones who do menial stuff are also content. See, to each his own. You're content with living in Nigeria. I'm not. Build your country for your children. I'll do my part from here, but I need to be alive to do that. This is my humble submission. 7 Likes |

toboy: These international schools sir, the BIS and Loyola Jesuits, the children of those who go there are people who don't intend for them to have Nigerian degrees. Trust me. The way they troop into our facility for medicals after A-levels. Reason am, my guy. These kids are not just Nigerians. They almost always have dual citizenship, or have the means to school abroad. 3 Likes |

thebosstrevor: Bros, some of us don't even want to build house anywhere. How about not dying because they treated me for ulcer when all along it was colon cancer? Should we compare the rate of misdiagnosis in the healthcare sectors? Nevermind, where would you even get the data from? 1 Like |

toboy: I am sorry but I disagree totally with you. If you are supporting migration or not, it should be on logical grounds and not those flawed points. First off, you said kids raised here lose identity which is important for mental health. I wonder what you mean by that and the studies to that effect. As per racism, it's everywhere, in fact a Nigerian living here face more racism than he can face abroad. An average Northerner is regarded as subhuman by the easterners westerners. Even in the same east, an average Anambra man thinks he is better than the average Ebonyi man and ridicules him. Was it not in same East, that people from one state sack other non indigenes from state civil service? Regarding people being extracted in the west, you pay taxes and enjoy it via free education at least for high school, good security, roads, health care etc 3 Likes 1 Share |

thebosstrevor: What is wrong with cleaning the toilet? If somebody does not clean the toilet after all of you use it, will you use it again? What is wrong with being a security man? If a thief steals your equipments at work, will you be able to work? The toilet cleaner and security man abroad with their pay of $15 per hour are doing well and better than some of you nigerians with your white collar jobs (bankers included) Dont come here with that negative attitude of yours 3 Likes |

Just go to the travel section, you will how nigerian immigrant joy is to get cheap loans with high interest, so that they can buy car and other material stuffs. The dream of many nigerian especially the men is to get loans as afap, marry a white woman who will give him a bed to sleep on |
