This is my story, i applied for tourist visa through an agent. He handed me the visa which is genuine but didnt give me my passport, i ask for the passport he told me the company which am going to work in dubai is holding the passport. That i should send a scanned copy of my flight ticket to them in dubai for them to release my passport. Pls am asking, is that how company do, i never buy flight ticket because i dnt want story. I need advise pls

I laugh in Swahili ;DI just hope it’s not what I’m thinking. Someone is going to use your passport to exit Dubai. Many Nigerians are in Dubai stucked over there over visa overstay. They need a new comer’s passport to exit back to Nigeria. I have been there. That’s what they do. If you overstay your visa in Dubai without an employment, all your overstay days attract fines. Most visa overstay cannot pay hence they cannot get out and so they need someone else’s fresh passport to exit. I hope he has not sold your passport to such people

Maybe you need to try a differnt browser

Have you been to his office, how Genuine do you think he is?
How do you intend to travel since he said your passport is in Dubai already?
Try and figure that out with him.
Maybe he is holding it back till you make a kind of settlement which I don't know of.
Go to his office and ask for proof of your passport's where about.

Expect 4+ some go as much as 12. It all depends on your employer, there is no rules on that.

am using an agent he said my visa will be out before February I think the use of trustworthy agent is good for good work
