Once you input your receipt number, you will be taken to the page where you can make your choice of available interview dates... So if January 4 is the earliest shown to you in your snapshop, it's the earliest you will be able to choose after inputting your receipt number, save miracle happens.

I saw 18th of December 2018 for Abuja and 24th of December 2018 for Lagos just for me to go and pay the visa fee and return but date have changed 2 of January 2019 and 11 of January 2019 respectively. I have few challenges that I want the house to help me on. I have fallen a prey of agent before knowing about this platform.
This is my challenge, the agent that helped me to create my account did not realease the log in details. Though we filled the Ds160 form together but he refused to give me the log in details. I want to book another appointment ASAP and I want to leave him out the whole process because he has given my dad a wrong orientation that I should not reapply, that I should travel to Dubai or any other for me to have a travel experience before reapplying which I don’t buy. Just go ahead and apply yourself this time leaving out what or what not the agent filled and be as sincere as you can. You mind I ask what school and what program you applied for?

Perhaps, all he is trying to say is that people should maintain eye contact as leaning on the frame might prevent that if one isn't conscious of looking up.

U will be issued tracking number when u pay with money order or check. U can use the tracking number to know when the check or the payment will get to sevis.

It simply means you have selected yes to the question 7: 'Were you previously issued a two-year F visa?', 'Was your previous two-year F visa issued in Nigeria?' and some ensuing questions...Change those if you never got an F-1 visa before. If you have submitted your form and your payment receipt number, you have just wasted your fee, because you'll have to fill in another form or risk being held for misrepresentation of fact.

Bachelor's degree at 40? hahaha, it would be hard o.

Just go for Master's degree in Information systems or computer information systems. You should look out for schools that does this programs under their business school so you can use your accounting degree to your advantage in terms of securing GA or other benefits.

Prepare to do prerequisites. You can't escape this. If you are lucky you won't do more than 5 requisite courses but am sure you will be bundled with at least 3 -4 of them since you have taken no programming courses or computer professional courses.

In my opinion, I will advice you to stay clear of starting a bachelor's degree in computer science. A masters degree in computer information systems in a business school will offer you a wider career option. Systems analysts, business analysts, data analyst/scientist, software developer, database administrator etc.

You won't be burdened with many programming courses in computer information systems and if you are so in love with programming, you can take online courses at lydia, udacity, udemy, etc.

Prepare and take the GRE to show you are serious because this field is for analytical minded people.

Definitely you have clicked the wrong option. You were not calm enough to cross check. Mistakes like this using result to paying another visa fee.

With the way they are denying emergency visa appointment application, i might be tempted to pay another 60k and book appointment in Abuja. My school said they can't give an extension on the resumption date and my appointment date is a day before my start date.
