Fake news from the stable of the nation who knows that many Nigerians will believe their lies and
not ask questions.

Any civilized and informed person knows that Lobbying is an inherent part of a democracy
with separation of power.
Even in advanced democracy like the US, the president must make trade-offs with the legislature
to get his projects approved.

But some caveman who don't understand how government works are angry because the strongest
National assembly in Nigeria's history refuses to rubber-stamp the executive "requests".

The 17 billion naira is not a bribe as no lawmaker received a personal alert based on it.
It was for projects that some lawmakers deemed important to their constituents.

The system encourages corruption at all levels. No point trying to be hypocrites. NASS members have to do constituency projects, give constituents cash, schloarships etc. These are projects the FG, State and LGAs should be doing and providing a proper social welfare system. Not Parliamentarians. They are there to make laws and act as check and balance.

We have a nebulous system that promotes corruption.

Considering how those who think they own Nigeria who dominate all tiers of govt we prepared to use any means to bring GEJ down, what choice did he have?

Whatever the case I am sure most Nigerian families will tell you they were in a better economic shape in December 2014 than in December 2018.

“This became the price to pay to have the 2015 budget passed.”

It was not only bribe offering and taking, but it was also extortion.

Btw, we read the whole thing and the quote came from her own mouth in her own book.

Nice try.

Saraki and Dogara sat there quietly and didn't say a word while their own members ridiculed they themselves, their amber, embarrassed themselves and the country, all because they know the unruly, rude and crass members did so on their behalf and their pockets.

If only Nigerians know their enemies most of the useless things they say about their leader(president)would be reduced.
The question is how much are legislators are receiving per month ?.Again how much is Buhari's pay per month?

APC is still the majority today and PMB did not bribe them and they did not demand 1 kobo, they cheered and welcomed him with pride and joy.

It's about Nigeria, not about your pockets.

Regardless who is or not the Majority, the commander in chief should not be bribing and enabling bribe takers regardless of the party they belong to.

This is what credible leaders do.

Sadly, you Igbos always have a million and 1 excuses and reasons to justify crookedness and corruption with, it's like you are mentally chained to to ccorruption and corrupt people. Even your mentality and thoughts are grossly corrupt.

You have ZERO credibility so why bother with the silly questions.

We are talking about official corruption by the then presidency and the NASS and your only response was a mentally corrupt question about the majority as if that's an excuse to give and not give and accept a bribe.

It's about what's right and what's wrong, not about the party or majority.

People like you really should not be members of any lawful society because you read and perceive everything based on politics and mental pettiness.

Buhari didn't give and people are dying, hunger everywhere, commodities on the rise.

Who is fooling who?

The moment all these apc and bmc realised that the more they defend buhari, the foolish and lame they look.

No wonder ASUU called apc party of vagabonds.

Infact I dare say that apc is a party of scallywags.

Apc and buhari can only be called those unprintable names by thieves and looters because they are the ones whose source to the common treasurey has been blocked, and not the people who are on genuine business.

When they say there's hunger, there's no money and people are dying, they are talking about themselves and their pockets.

They are basically saying no more awoof money laying around for them to swallow.

Propaganda government will never succeed

The re-election campaign money of the legislators plus retirement money for those who lost out in their primaries ; all their money was padded to the budget and when Buhari didn't give them any leeway..

The result were the books and the yeye cold war that we've seen between the executive and the legislature this past few months.

Official corruption by the presidency?

Who is the president that hired a certificate forger as minister of finance? You do know forgery is a crime right?

Who is the president that has a minister that hasn't served contrary to the law of the land?

The people who collected bribe are currently in the same party as the president.
