I was under the impression that Xiaomi would be different but I guess I'm wrong.

Bros no need to be sentimental about this, it is business and they are in it for profit making. The game is the game.

I am new on this thread. My first and only experience with Xaomi was bitter-sweet. I had the Redmi Note 3 global version.

It was a wonderful phone on the whole. It also functioned like a flagship phone. I can tell because prior to that phone I used a Samsung Note.

Exactly 1 year from the date of purchase it began malfunctioning andbthen packed up a few days later.

I wish to change my phone now. I currently use a Nokia 3 and a Samsung J7. I would like to upgrade to a Nokia 7 or 8. I woukd also like to replace the Samsung with a high end Xiaomi phone.

Someone recommended that I do the Mi 8 series.

I hereby seek your recommendations on what Xiaomi I can possibly buy. My budget is 100k for the Xiaomi.

I will really appreciate your responses.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Table Shaking mood activated!

Been on the Note 6 pro official Telegram group for quite some time now and here are my observations.

1. MIUI is awesome albeit some minor limitations which dnt matter much.

2. Custom roms are way overrated as they come with one bug or the other. Just find way to stick with your stock coz flashing every time is not worth it, you never get satisfied.

3. Gcam. Produces amazing shots, but totally not worth it in my opinion as it is as buggy as hell, but if you can find the perfect one for your device, great. Happy searching!

These assertions are totally based on my observations from the Note6pro group, not general assumption.

So to the current user & prospective buyers, just enjoy your phone like the normal Iphone user.

Coming from a former flasher of everything & anything. grin

Congrats to the bros that the wife put to birth and found his car. Its coming late, but it sha came. God bless you.

Hope I didn't interrupt any topic on ground. I love this thread.

Which version of Orange Fox? 8.3? Cuz anything less is reported to give problems. You can try flashing the latest firmware update, that works for everyone I know that had similar issues to yours

So what then is the point of IMEI?
They will track the phone using the IMEI. Any SIM inserted would automatically 'use' the IMEI to connect to network. So they just have to track your phone's IMEI to pinpoint the exact location of the phone and also collect the details of any new SIM inserted- info like picture, address, fingerprint.

I don't understand it.
Owning a Power steering Peugeot and expect it to perform like a 2018 Mercedes Benz. They are clearly not of the same price or targeted at the same audience. I can never get the rationale behind it.

The expectations of some people in a sub 70k phone though, lolol.
