I don't think it's that easy. I mean there are a couple of things to fund such as players and staff salaries, logistics, repairs and maintenance, and the owners should have their own profits too. The thing is, are they making enough elsewhere aside this TV rights money?

Thinking is not hard. If you say one of the talents a player has is quickness. You can say that because that talent predisposes him (sets him up) to beat players he is quicker than which could lead to his success as a footballer.

In the same vein, a player's height sets him up to take advantage of players he is taller than. That is why taller players are generally better than shorter ones as target men. Same goes for keepers and defenders.

These are not new facts, many learned people have this opinion as well. Google is a resourceful tool and a strong companion.

yea you are right.They make money from fan club membership,sale of players,gate fees, sale of merchandise i.e jerseys and the likes, and finally money gotten from competitions.

Without sounding smug, it is something I have known for a while. In fact, I think the article describes only a fraction of what Google controls. To truly understand this, find some under-g articles on GCHQ, you might get an idea. It's not easy to continue to foil terrorist plots well in advance of the scheduled times of occurrence. In these times, these guys can hit a button and play God. Literally.

And yes I agree with you. It is scary. But scary to me for a different reason. Scary, because of what could happen, if that much power falls in the wrong hands.

if man united with greater running costs can afford to buy several players costing that much,why cant fulham buy at least one of such players or spend up to such amount on acquiring players.
I would not have gotten into this conversation if not that i actually manage a club on FM and Master League.I manage NEC NIJMEGEN of the eredivisie.

Man Utd makes significantly more money than Fulham. Man Utd for example might make 1billion spend 700M, Fulham total income might be 200M

Lol. I am not going to say anything new. I made my points with links while back when this argument erupted.

Low center of gravity is implicitly related to speed and pace. Messi, Hazard, Kante are few examples. That is one talent to their repertoire that other talented players like Kanu and Sergio Busquets lack.

So because for e.g Peter Crouch has a HEIGHT (not tallness or shortness) talent advantage does not mean he is more talented than Messi. If we were to list out all Messi's talents, I surmise he would have more talent than every other player in world football.

For instance, Messi's technique in shooting, balance, decision-making, foresight, body movement, dribbling, freekick taking, scoring, tenacity, acceleration etc etc are talents he has that Crouch doesn't.
