Quit Active Politics, Be A Statesmen - Reporter tell Obasanjo by Gistpeeps: 5:56am On Dec 26, 2018

I was so delighted to see former United States Presidents, Jimmy Carter, George W. Bush Jnr, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama line up at the funeral service of former President George H. W. Bush Snr.

The lesson here is, all these leaders and several other former Western leaders alive, never participate in their country’s politics after leaving office. They remain great statesmen and only comment on global issues affecting humanity generally.

I want to see Obasanjo do the same to show that he is indeed a statesman.

angry

Being a statesman doesn't mean he can't have a preferred candidate. I'm not a politician but I know the difference between someone who will make Nigeria work again and someone who only knows how to bring suffering.

It is a crime agaist humanity to keep quiet and be neutral in the face of the current state of offairs under Buhari.

If not for Obasanjo, Buhari's dictatorship, and inactivity in the face of massacres by the herdsmen would have gotten to every community in the country.

How can someone like obasonjo keep quiet in the face of gross incompetence on the part of Buhari whom he helped to power? That will make him a useless statesman. All past leaders of this country are against buhari. OBASANJO is just the most vocal of them all.

Did they govern under same scenario? No. Did they go through same citizenry? No. Therefore, their means determines the ends, never compare one to another.

If those white leaders had governed in the African "shit hole" situation, do you think most of them would still be standing comfortably and walking upright? they would've aged beyond recognition!
