How does it work please explain.
Akby:

It is very possible. It is called "Permanent Resident Nomination". If the person in Canada is your direct sibling or cousin, it is 100% legal and guaranteed. If otherwise, I can't really say much

Please i need your Inputs, help a brother

Hello gurus

I need your input. I just started my process to school in Canada, I am graduate of Computer Engineering and also CCNA

Some universities don’t check your final grade, they are more particular about your grade in the last 2 sessions. My 400 & 500 level results were 4.65 and 4.81 respectively
You can try Dalhousie but getting their admission letter is more like applying for TRV. In fact Proof of Fund is a must and you have to show you studied Fourier analysis or any software related course in the past for the programmer I applied for though.

What's the status of your app? Have you been denied or still under processing? From your previous posts, seems you are still under processing. If you failed eligibility review, then you shouldn't get a medical request. Secondly, did you attach your receipt of tuition payment to your app? Did your sponsor state in the sponsorship letter that he has paid $13k+ of your fees( that is if you submitted a sponsorship letter)? Just my thoughts though. Am not a guru. But if you can answer the above questions, suggestions can be given.

Good evening NL

I finally got my GCMS notes

In my GCMS note the London visa office stated that :

"Applicant to study at the University of Winnipeg from 2019/02/27 - 2020/05/15 has only $29,000 CAD ( SOA - with closing balance of 8.3million) UNCLE'S MONEY which will not be enough for the first year tuition & expenses.

I have already deposited $13,658 from my first year tuition fees which is 21,500 but discovered that i omited the part payment receip paid via flywire to the University of Winnipeg .

The $13,658 did not reflect in my GCMS note though it was stated in the application form I filled online that I have already deposited $13,658

My application status says OPEN : please what can I do before the Final Decision on my application my resumption is February 27.

Long Post Alert!

Hi guys! I’m super excited to make this post. I came across this forum when I was about to submit my application and I have been a silent reader. Sincerely speaking, all the information I gathered from page one of this thread and from individuals’ comments aided me in putting together my application documents.

I’m a graduate of Petroleum Engineering (MSc & BSc). I was offered admission to do an MSc in Mining Engineering programme (Petroleum Geostatistics concentration) at the University of Alberta, beginning January 7, 2019.

Here is my application timeline:

November 22 - Submitted my application (paper route), with upfront medicals.
November 23 - Linked my application to my online account
December 5 - Medical exam passed.
December 6 - Received correspondence letter for biometrics validity (from Nairobi).
December 6 - Eligibility review began
December 21 - Received another correspondence letter for biometrics validity (from Lagos).
December 24 - My application was approved.

Document submitted

Academic Documents:
• Acceptance letter from the University of Alberta.
• Receipts of payment for official transcripts processing, to meet admission offer conditions.
• MSc/BSc academic transcripts and degree certificates
• West African Examination Council (WAEC) certificate

Proof of Financial Support:
• Funding letter from the University of Alberta (indicating CAD1,750/month stipend plus full tuition cover). This was my only proof of financial support.

Other Documents:
• All the required CIC Application forms.
• Police character certificate
• Upfront medical form
• Data page of International passport and page showing travel history.
• NYSC certificate
• Birth certificate
• Certificate of Origin
• Mother and siblings’ birth certificates
• Resume
• Internship completion certificate
• Letter of Introduction from the lecturer I work with (as a Graduate Assistant).
• Letter of Introduction from my HOD/MSc Thesis Supervisor.

Above all, I give all thanks, praise and glory to the Almighty God for His immense grace and favour. For all TRV hopefuls and everyone reading this post, may God speedily grant to you unmerited favour in Jesus Mighty Name…

Happy Holidays!

So sorry for the delay, but I suggest you address the point raised and quickly reapply instead of waiting for GCMS. Why do I say so? Your GCMS will always cometwith the same normal generic reasons they have already given. I suspect your refusal is base of visit and not ties bla bla! Could you send me the SOP you use for scrutiny? I guess that's were the refusal came from

Can I send mine too sir?

From your GCMS notes, it appears they have an issue with your medical result (Have you done your medicals?). Secondly, you can send them the receipt of the fee you made through CSE form

I have sent them the receipt via CSE

Merry Christmas dear landers. May the joy of the season abide with you today and always.
Please how long does it take for medicals to be updated on an application.
I did upfront medicals on the 12th and updated my form accordingly.
It's been over 2 weeks and it's still showing "we are reviewing your medical report" since then. Please any suggestions on what to do next?

Thanks everyone. And once again happy holidays.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by amozag2018: 11:56pm On Dec 26, 2018
It was your medical result that gave them a sign of concern that was why your application went in for secondary review hence the reason you failed the eligibility review ... Also, the reason you were not sent the PPR after medical passed. If you can munch the part that has "History" in your GCMS note and paste it here (show application 1-5 in the screenshots ) or check if your eligibility has a new value then I can guide you further from my little experience. The Payment of fees that they noted came from the secondary review (meaning another VO is checking your application, this was done in CPC Ottawa or CPC Vegreville which is in Alberta Canada). Sending your payment receipt can resolve this as earlier said ONLY IF YOUR ELIGIBILITY WAS UPDATED TO A NEW VALUE.
