Did someone actually say that to you? that Rome is famous for its pyramid? Anyways, I've met a guy that asked me where Jupiter is located. He had a hard time understanding the concept of "out of space", so it was a disaster explaining it. He actually thought it was a place on earth. He's a good friend though.

I can relate.

I finished read Michelle Obama's Becoming a few days ago and in one the chapters she described Barack as a fact guy; too cerebral for most people and how so few people could relate to his way of thinking.

It was an epiphany for me; you are not alone I told myself. Even the great men suffer this, hell it could even be a prerequisite for greatness.

Once you begin to absorb information many times faster than everyone around you, you start becoming
very lonely. It is my reality. You begin to wonder why seemingly educated people cannot grasp basic things. You have to start operating at their level so you don't come off as an ITK.
Someone once told me with pride that he did not know who Nigeria's vice-president was. This was during the last administration. This was someone I expected to be better than most. I was deflated.
