Impressive little baby steps for sure. Only wished previous administrations had taken such baby steps in the past, giant strides would have been the norm by now. Slowly but surely, we'll definitely get our country built on solid grounds with critical infrastructures put in place. I appreciate and laud this regimes focus on these critical infrastructure, no wonder most people who have been so used to seeing peanuts flying around from those who'll dip their filthy fingers in our patrimonial pot would think the economy was booming in the past not knowing that the monies for these infrastructures was what they were sharing about and building for themselves humongous structures they hardly ever will make use of. I'd rather another 4 years of Bubu to stiffle these unrepentant thieves and set the ground for a system where access to the Federal coffer for jamboree and settlement of cronies will be equal to almost zero. the rail was abandoned since 1987 but it is now completed and being test run. The rail is very critical to the Ajaokuta Steel Complex for movement of raw materials and finished products Abandoned since 1987. SMH... #SAINEXTLEVEL. 7 Likes |

The development of any nation is destined to borne out of the steel and rail road industry. We saw how railroad boomed the age of industrialization in Britain and, how steel revolutionized the United States. The rail road by Cornelius Vanderbilt was used to transport the oil from Rockerfella. We saw how Andrew Carnegie's steel revolutionized rhe American way of life foe good eg Housing, Auto industry, armaments, etc. We missed our shot to industrialization during the 80s, about the same time China sprang into its industrial age. Assuming the Ajaokuta steel rolling industry had taking of then, we should basically be on par with China now. Also, we failed ro capitalize on one of rhe greatest legacies the British ever gifted Nigeria ; the rail road. Just imagine Nigeria with a functional steel and rail industry ; there would be no reason why Nigeria won't be producing its own Automobiles of any kind, i see no reason why our military won't be developing arms and ammunitions of any kind they deem fit, i see no reason why we won't be building super structures based on t the availability of steel like seen in the US, eg Trump Towers and some other sky scrappers,i see no reason why our Train and railways system wont be among the best in Africa, transportation of goods, lives and, property would have been top notch.. I belive our failure boils down to the discovery of oil coupled with the vicious cycle of megalomaniacs that had once ruled this country at one time in its history. Such an uncalled for backwardness has been the fate of Nigeria and its people. We don't need any Jesus/Mohammed(SAW)/Buddha Pastors/Prophets/Bishops/imams/alfas/sheikh or any democratically elected Baron from the APC/PDP cartels before we achieve such. The modus operandi of Cartels have been the same all over the world from the days of Al Capone and Pablo Escobar (SAW) ;which has been to always protect fiercely, the interest of its leaders and members regardless of whose Ox is gored and, woukd ruthlessly deal with any usurper who tends to take rheir leaving away from them.. This includes the religious cartels. Unfortunately the Nigerian political parties have been studying extensively the doings and operations of the Medellin Cartel. What we need now is a Mao Zedong + Che Guivera +Stalin all on steroids to purge this nation off all these excess baggages of rubbish.If we can't achieve a nationwide revolution, i guess we can achieve a regional revolution which shouldn't be that hard. If the South East under Kanu, the South West under Aare Ona Kankanfo Gani Adam or any other revolutionary, South South under a Tompolo or Asari Dokubo and, Middle Belt under a fierce and enlightened leader can all reach an agreement to unilaterally agree on a regional simultaneously conducted revolutionized then, the already weak Nigerian Army would be stretched to thin to fight on 4 different fronts coupled with the fact that majority of the Southern soldiers would rather die for their ancestral regions of origin rather than for the elusive elusive unity of Nigeria. Some might argue with my proposition as a failure bound one, due to the fact that we have more docile and naive youths, who've have willingly sacrificed intellectualism on the altar of entertainment and other disastrous atrocities but, let left to me, id rather fo into the villages to recruit and train Guerilla fighters then assemble the enlightened youths who are not on a dosage of Wizkid and davido to spread the gospel of the revolution and sensitize the populace on the need for it.
