Pls I have an appointment with IOM next month. I will like to know if i have to go back there after that date to pick up results? Are we expected to get a copy of the results after the test

Secondly, at the point of paying d processing and RPRF fee,can I pay with my zenith bank naira mastercard?? Has anyone here tried that? Although I called a friend of mine who works with zenith and she said their cards are used 4 international transactions but that she knows someone who used their card to make such payment, and they were charged twice that amount. Please who else here has tried that procedure? Am putting my documents together 4 PR application as I just recieved ITA. Thanks

Reading through the past 10 to 15 pages... I've seen so many incorrect information about this EE process dished out. Funny enough, these people "confidently" responded to the question of others thinking they were doing them a favour, without knowing they were misleading.

I have said it severally on this platform, if you are not sure, you either skip the question and not respond or you refer the person to page 1. Please, do not mislead others.

On the other hand, I will still beg newbies... please, do yourself a favour by researching page one... you can use keywords for what you are looking for. Research part 1 to 5. Avoid relying completely on the information you get on this thread. ... you can also search for all these information on CIC page. They are all there.

e.g: If i am looking for the acceptable POF for one individual, type "POF, one person/individual" and adjust the category filter to "travels". Search through all the pages that cam up, you will get what you want. Good thing is that it starts from the latest information to the earliest when the thread started, so you are almost certain to be working with the most updated information.

You must learn to be patient to research all you want... otherwise you will be doing urself a lot of injustice.

I have seen where people said they had paid for ECA through WES before they realized that they could have used ICES. You would not know this unless you research. This is a major decision, worth doing all the hardwork. Besides, its really not easy answering the same questions again and again a few slides after answering the previous one.

My 2 cents!

Me I can't even imagine what Part 7 of this thread will look like after the "remaining" well-informed seniors don get their PPR and move to the sister thread. U go fear questions nah, U won try the answers given as well. Chief Raphrulz I think this is new year and it's high time we stopped persuading folks to visit page 1 that's simply the message we preached throughout last year. GS na once in a while now, NM same, HappyT for where, Mcstan etc, even madam Ifeoma, You, very few seniors and Silent readers left will eventually bid here bye when the GOLDEN mail shows which is only a matter of time. You've said it all but trust me those questions will keep coming repeatedly.

OK... I asked cause i soon as I chose United States of America, the form changed and made district field a drop-down. I also saw a help tip stating "the person must be legally residing in the country" when I clicked on the question mark.

Thanks.

Bro wait o, you don read Page 1 at all?? Just asking. I hope you won't ask us when to submit?? grin

I guess we can’t even really do much until we exceed the official estimated processing time.

I’m just praying it doesn’t get to that, keeping fingers crossed.

E don do. You’re the same person who wrote TEF when you already had CRS score of 470+. Did you even use the CRS calculator before writing TEF? After writing TEF, you came here saying you were afraid of your score of 485. Lol. How much have you read up on this process? I have filled my Profile after ITA, as confusing as it was, i learnt everything I needed (including Nysc questions) from using keywords in the search bar. Take it easy, please read and read and read again. All the documents you need will show up in a checklist after you have completed your profile post ITA. You can even always go back to edit this profile before final submission.

Good evening ma.

Thanks for your advice. I'll take it seriously.

I didn't actually write TEF cause I was afraid I'd not reach the cut off. I've been writing French exams for the past 6yrs (since 2013) for personal reasons. I was only surprised cause I felt my TEF wasn't so good and yet it boosted my crs that much.

Maybe I missed the part of page one where the peculiarities of entering the details of a sibling in the United States were discussed. Bravo on filling your form without asking questions, that's some level of intelligence.

I created the TEF thread linked up to page one on this thread so I really understand how you feel when people ask questions we believe they should not ask. The only difference is the way we handle it.

Meanwhile, do you think it'd be a problem if the reference letter for my current employment is dated 3 months prior to my application?

Honestly, I didn't see that on page one.

Any Senior in the house named a sibling who stays in the US under the family section?

Did CIC request for evidence of legal residence in the United States?

No you won't go back for any results, your business with them ends that same day.

Yes you can use your zenith bank card. It's not possible for them to charge twice the amount, it must have been an erroneous double payment

Hello house
I've some enquiries about POF

I intend to use gift deed from my father.will I need to prove that my father has the ability to gift the money CONVINIENTLY during submission or at any point in time during the processing time? This is because for "one reason or the other" I am thinking of using my mother account to do the gift deed but her account does not have a history of heavy transactions.

Sometimes I really wonder if the deed of gift is that simple....more like I hope I am not missing something ohhh.

Thanks for the answers guys

Also, can i start my ECA before creating an EE profile?

Bros, this your question about ECA will make me answer your question about your GF or wife-to-be.
If by now you've not started your ECA, and your wedding is slated for March, then you need not to worry about the fact that she is still your girlfriend cos by the time your eca is ready, your wedding would have been close by (if a foreign university) or already a few months after your honeymoon (if it is a Nigerian university like Lautech). So trust me, just set aside additional money for POF cos your wife might have been pregnant before you create your profile and your baby would need to be added to your application thereafter. grin grin
