Only soiled hands roam around the internet looking for the kind of hubris you dumped here as advice. You are not aspiring to go to a jungle, but a developed society where you can only temporary run from the law if you have crime baggages. Fix yourself and have rest of mind as you proceed with this journey. Fellow Nigerians here or outside will have nothing on you, if you are upright. 234ng44uk: 15 Likes |

It's obvious that from your response you have failed to grasp the points that I was trying to make. In this case, the judge actually sided with the applicant and rightly so. In other words, the VO was wrong to make a decision based on that letter without giving the applicant the opportunity to defend him/herself. I was only trying to tell you that your advise was quite wrong. If all the people that have contributed to the success of this thread decided to keep to themselves and become faceless, then a lot of us including you will not be here today. I know so many people here have met physically and formed bonds of friendship that would most likely last a lifetime. Most of these people are "Nigerians/Canadians" but for you to conclude that Nigerians are out to stab each other in the back is quite unfortunate. I did not say that the applicant was innocent but that the judge was write to allow him/her defend themselves by presenting evidence to refute the claims of arranged marriage. I only hope that you don't experience such a situation were you are judged without being able to defend yourself. Perhaps then and only then, you will understand the message I'm trying to pass across. I rest my case 234ng44uk: 12 Likes |

Exactly, it's only a dubious person that imagines that everyone is out to stab them in the back. LOTRISH45: 3 Likes |

Good day all, please I will like to know if I am supposed to use the official rate or bank rate when converting my funds to Canadian dollars. Also, which website for official rate is most reliable? Thanks for your anticipated reply. |

Hello all, pls I need some clarification on this issue- if you’re using Tbills and dollar acc as POF, do you also need to show the SOA the tbills is done from or can the tbills certificate suffice with the ref letter from the bank (the bank ref states both accounts and their respective balances) 1 Like |

Sugarboi1: Don't just read page one, follow the links there for the real juice. Yes, there is a link on page one that leads to a list of people who got PPR as self employed. P.S for newbies: You can read up all the links on page one in about 8 hours. By the time you finish, you'll know more than some of us that have been here for months. You don't even need to catch up on any thread, just skim through content of page one links. Whenever you find something relevant to you, click share so you can find it in future. Some people take screenshots, others have biro and 'express entry' jotter. Good luck to everyone and may all our (positive) dreams come true. 26 Likes 1 Share |

Good afternoon guys! For those asking about NOUN post graduate studies: 1) Yes, you can finish in a year. You can decide your pace by the number of courses you do in a semester. 2) Regardless of when you finish, you'll only get your cert in the following convocation (January). 3) You're sure of getting your certificate in the next convocation only if your project result is out early enough. Otherwise, it's till the next convocation. 5) You can ask for statement of result before the certificate is out. 6) Transcript is completely processed online and one of the fields on the form is for certificate upload (not sure if statement is acceptable). 7)You simply need to fill the form online, specify your destination, pay via remmitta, upload both your receipt and your certificate on their fields and submit. The processing takes 5 to 15 days. You might receive two mails within the period: one for confirmation of request and one with the tracking number once it's sent. 8 ) NOUN Master's evaluates to Canadian Master's. 9) It is full time not part time. However, CIC says you should type "by correspondence" in brackets after the name of the school if it is distance learning. This is just to help the officer decide if a police report is required from the country of the institution. It also helps to clarify the issue of study/work overlap. 10) It's worth it. Best of luck to those writing TEF next week. Don't forget to ask your questions on the TEF thread. Canada here we come! 20 Likes 6 Shares |
