In developed countries with right thinking individuals, this would earn him voter points. This is a candidate who wants to go the extra mile in communicating with the electorate, sensible people would have used this an an opportunity to table their demands and expectations MATURELY, but no! Not Nigerians! Everything is a joke to us, it's no surprise our leaders don't take us seriously and continue to treat us with impunity. PythonDancer: 2 Likes |

SANWO didn't contract someone to make the App for him. It is some over zealous support group that doesn't know an app must solve a problem. they just wanted to be Y2k compliant. Stop laughing at SANWO, he might have been unaware of any app like that until it trended |

Yankee101: Oh stop trying to be smart, and stay on course. Accessing the Internet alone leaves you vulnerable. You're changing the narrative to something completely unrelated. I hope you've heard of GDPR, how it came about, and how it affects individual data privacy. We're discussing apps here. You have total control of that you use or don't use and if it's under Playstore, Google demands a privacy policy that spells out permissions and specifics on required user data. |

Re: The Babajide Sanwo-Olu App On Playstore Mocked By Nigerians by airsaylongcon: 1:36pm On Jan 16, 2019 |
Bamz: Given that you used the slang "mate" here and mentioned GDPR in another comment here I can safely assume we're you are located. I tell you for free, Nigerian users DO NOT read those screens where there accept the permissions. They careless about what permissions the apps ask for. If I mentioned GDPR to 100 Nigerians I bet 98 will have NO idea what I was talking about. So yes such an app would declare what permissions it requires and most Nigerians would happily accept them not knowing what they accepted. Plus does declaring the permissions prevent the app developer from surreptitiously stealing the data they requested permissions for? |

Wonder how this is such a big deal. These type of comments are normal on unnecessary apps on the store. Most common is with Samsung apps. Seems people are just catching on |

airsaylongcon: If I'm running a campaign in naija, with all the lax laws, the most important thing for me is your contacts It's like gold. Almost every voter in naija has a phone. Obama won from gathering grassroot contacts. I can send messages directly to everyone in bulk without your consent once i download everything The worst part is, imagine you have nudes in your storage and you're my political enemy |

Nigerians assuredly recognizes the options before us come February 2019, obviously the right choice is an Atiku team[A-Team] at the helm of affairs. Every vote cast for Wazirin Adamawa will be an eloquent repudiation of the A.P.C. government, our votes will mark an epoch as well as monuments for us and generation yet unborn because through the ballot box we will challenge sense of lethargy ,hopelessness, resignations, frustrations and the hypocrisy of an oppressive capricious A.P.C led government . An Atiku Presidency will further defeat the militating factors that impede our journey to a deserved greatness amongst the comity of nations. In deference to President Obama and for our people in the intervening months leading up to the elections, Our votes will proclaim “an end to the petty grievances, lopsided corruption, insurgency, nepotism and false promises, the recriminations and worn out dogmas that for so long have strangled our politics” Alhaji Atiku Abubakar buoyed by the audacity of hope on your imminent emergence as the next civilian President of our beloved country. I make bold to write that your mandate to rule Nigeria come 2019 is a “divine call” merely vested on you in trust and as a caretaker for the masses of Nigeria. It is neither for any emerging cabal nor political mongers even the over patronized elites cannot appropriate undue benefits. It would be in recognition of the “unsung, uncelebrated and anonymous Nigerians. Men and women scattered across the country |

Bamz: GDPR is for Europe The law was passed ONLY AFTER the facebook scandal involving Cambridge Analytica as it relates to unduly influencing US elections and Brexit. If voting in those developed countries were affected you think a desperate naija politician won't use it if he could? Wake up from sleep |
