justwise: What I read from the guidance is not clear enough sir. There is an heading on Tier 2 guidance called PREVIOUS GRANT OF LEAVE which says people can claim 10 points for English language proficiency based on their immigration history. I also checked caseworkers guidance to see. Am trying to upload the screenshots of what I read from caseworkers guidance and Tier 2 migrant about English language proficiency but it's not uploading. Please sir can you also help me to read paragraph 158, page 40 of Tier 2 workers guidance and page 78 of caseworkers guidance sir. When I got my Tier 2 then it was through the point based calculator I checked my degree status but now i noticed people needs to send to UKNARIC but based on the content of those paragraphs which talk about PREVIOUS GRANT OF LEAVE am confused sir. Thanks |

@Justwise and other gurus in the house. I have an issue now as I am filling the form, I need assistance. Let me start with the background story. We intend traveling soonest to UK. Family of 6. Husband, wife and 4kids. Expenses to be paid by our private Coy. We have all board resolution and approval. Budget 2.2m for all. My question. How do I fill this 1. For the kids. How much are u planning to spend on your visit to uk 2. What is the total amount u spend each month 3. How much will they be paying towards your visit For Wify and I, how do we answer same question? Do we have to state the total sum of 2.2m each or break it into our individual breakdown which is about 362k for each of the 6 of us. |

Ojoaccess: I have seen that section and it stated that you will be awarded 10points if you have met the English language requirement before. So you don't need to evaluate your certificate with Uk Naric again. Just make sure that you completed the form properly to reflect that |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 3:04pm On Jan 18, 2019 |
radwad: That doesn't look good because it will take you more than 5months of your whole salary to pay back the loan. How about saving for it rather than taking that much of a loan? 1 Like 1 Share |

I picked up my short stay visit visa yesterday and it took exactly three weeks as I applied on 27 December. It was dated 11 January which was the exact departure date I filled in the form, unfortunately the date is passed now. Thanks to all for their contributions on this platform. |

justwise: Thanks for your help sir. When I read those paragraphs I was thinking it was only applicable to those applying for Tier 2 Extension/Leave to remain. I don't know it's also applicable to those reapplying for entry clearance after the 12month cooling - off period. Thanks and God bless you sir. |

They claimed they could not ascertain the relationship between my invitee and myself. They are not too comfortable with the 29days duration of visit ,saying emphatically it's my first visit. Thanks in anticipation of your quick response ma. bigtt76: |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by bigtt76(f): 6:45am On Jan 19, 2019 |
1. Are you an employee? 2. Did you get a letter of introduction from your employer? 3. What is the relationship between you and your invitee? 4. What is your invitee status in the UK? Citizen or Resident? 29 days holiday for an employee or businessman/woman in Nigeria is an over kill considering that most leave days are like 2-3 weeks. You need to provide proof of your relationship with your invitee else they might see you as one looking to abscond during the visit especially if invitee is a citizen or resident. All the best. everyevery: |

Hello house, let me quickly appreciate the guys helping to sort out issues on this forum, thanks a lot. I'm confused and need someone to put me through, my fiancee just passed her ielts and nmc cbt and ready for other processes for a tier 2 visa but we are planning to apply together. We are planning to get married around March which is around the same time we would be applying for the visa. My questions.. Is it advisable to apply immediately after marriage? In applying, what other evidences would be needed to show the genuity of the marriage apart from the marriage cerficate? |
