Calling Salah the Greatest African to have played in the EPL at this point in time is a Big No. Would He eventually assume that Mantle? I firmly believe so. However I do believe He had the Greatest Season(or at worst the 2nd Greatest) by any African in the EPL. Only Drogba's 2009/10 season comes close. Widening it further, off the top of my head in recent seasons, only Luis Suarez's 2013/2014 and Ronaldo's 2007/08 were better(there are probably 1 or 2 I am missing).

Salah has proven his consistency by repeating his performance of last season

Drogba was dropping single digits 4 out of 9 seasons.

Almost half of Drogba time in EPL he was dropping Morata type numbers

Drogbas best season was 29 goals, Salah already eclipsed that in his first full season
His second best season is 20goals, Salah should beat that this season again in his second season

Does it make sense to you to say if someone scores 25goals against teams outside the top 6 and scores only 3 goals against the top 6 and another player scores 10 goals outside the top 6 and scores 8 goals against the top 6..that the said player is better than the player with higher goals?

Do goals scored against the top 6 come with extra points abi when you defeat the top 6 then you get X2 the points than the usual..

Drogba had 0.91 goal to appearance ratio in the season he scored the highest goal while salah had 0.89 goal to appearance ratio just concluded season where you claimed he has the best performance.

Whatever criteria you want to use still exposes you.
Big game performance had Drogba scoring against all the top side while salah was founding wanting against man united last season.
