The law stated that if admit to his omission after notification, there is no need for such. Look, the judiciary is not under Buhari. The judiciary is not like the police or the military that is part of the executive. The presidency does not have the power to suspend and appoint a new CJN all by him self. He doen not..

It is like saying the president can sack the senate president. The judiciary and the legislature are independent arm of the govt. Buhari can not suspend CJN becus it is an independent body fully managed by the judicial commission. He can only remove after such recommendation by the council and national assembly.

If I may repeat, the Code of Conduct Tribunal has been established with the exclusive jurisdiction to deal with all violations contravening any of the provisions of the Code as per paragraph 15(1). Modath you need to understand that their reasons for suspending campaigns are not because CJN was accused(if you noticed they have been silent about it since),but because the president has now thrown caution to the wind. If the CJN is guilty, let the process which brought him buhari determine that.
Buhari has a penchant for acting regardless of the law, constitution or due process, but only implements it when it suits his purpose of fishing culprits.
