A lot of people would be scared that the number of Buhari supporters have increased on Nairaland... but I will show you guys in a bit that it is all false.

Names like;

Cleverly
Clicmarin
Ngeneukwenu
Butterflyleo
domelo

Are all being operated by one person

Names like

Manabbqgrills
SEOnaijaexpert

Are also being controlled by one person.

Others like

Clearfair
Sarkki
Buhariguy
and other numerous accounts that can barely communicate in good English is also controlled by one person too.

Also;

Realityshot
passing.shot

They were all created between 2018 and 2019. Just for the sole purpose of election propaganda online. Just in case you want to vote Buhari because you see all these guys supporting Buhari, they will all disappear after 2019 Feb and you will be alone to face your hunger.

Atiku is not the best option, but Buhari will destroy this nation if he wins again.

If you don't perform in your 1st tenure, what will you do in your 2nd?

I thought I was the only one that noticed the sudden change. They were nowhere to be found on all the threads detailing Atiku's trip to America or on Amaechi's Scandal but few weeks to elections and they're crawling everywhere like insects.

Which law? Please research very well before you delve into topics, most especially when they relate to laws.

Please Google that law you referred to. What that law says is that when a public officer has been TRIED and found GUILTY, then the CCT can recommend his removal from the office.

Almost every one agreed that the CJN has committed a grave infraction but he has not been tried and he has not been found GUILTY, of which those are the grounds the CCT can issue an Order.

Having issued an Order without the conditions precedent, the Order is illegal.

There are a lot of issues with that Order but let us limit it to the above.

These are the words of the CJN himself when he gave absolute powers to the CCT when it comes to issues on false asset declaration at a ruling.

Speaking here, he was interpreting the powers conferred on the CCT by our constitution and this was in 2013.

He never envisaged that one day he would fall victim to his own ruling.

Read and stop wailing ignorantly

If I may repeat, the Code of Conduct Tribunal has been established with the exclusive jurisdiction to deal with all violations contravening any of the provisions of the Code as per paragraph 15(1). This provision has expressly ousted the powers of ordinary regular courts in respect of such violations.

The Tribunal to the exclusion of other courts is also empowered to impose any punishments as specified under sub-paragraphs (2) (a), (b) & (c) of paragraph 18 as provided in sub-paragraphs 3 and 4 of paragraph 18 while appeals shall lie as of right from such decisions to the Court of Appeal.

The real important question to ask at this stage is what is the consequences of the violation of the aforesaid paragraphs of the 5th Schedule to the 1999 Constitution?

The answer to the above question is to be found in Paragraph 12 of the said Part 1 of the 5th Schedule which enacts as follows: -‘Any allegation that a public officer has committed a breach of provisions of this code shall be made to the Code of Conduct Bureau.’

“It is my considered view that the above provision is very clear and unambiguous. It provides a remedy in the event of any alleged breach of the provisions. The remedy lies with the Code of Conduct Bureau which has been clothed with the requisite jurisdiction to handle such matters.

Buhari acted within the boundaries of the law.

Good morning. Please read that law and my comments very well.

1. The CJN has committed grave infraction. I mean very grave.

2. The CCT has power to try any Public Office in relation to offences of non declarations of assets or assets that is not commensurate with your salary and the CJN judgment ON the CCT is okay.

3. Section 7 of the CCT Act prohibits having foreign account.

4. Look at section 23 of that Act. Sub section 1 says....' Where the Tribunal finds any Public Officer GUILTY...... Then punishment includes Vacating that office. So what we are saying is that the CCT has not followed that provision. A man has not been tried, he has not been found GUILTY and you are issuing an Order that he should be suspended. Under which provision of the law?

So what we are saying is that the CCT has not followed that provision. A man has not been tried, he has not been found GUILTY and you are issuing an Order that he should be suspended. Under which provision of the law?

Prior to the CJN being tried he has to by way of honour step aside from his office. He is not an ordinary lawyer he is the head of all legal institutions In the land and thus cannot be a judge in his own case. This is simple natural law.

He refused to step aside and instead went ahead to suspend the meeting of the NJC which he is the chairman just to ensure they do not meet to remove him.

He also went to so many courts to get stay of order ruling even as far as the Nigerian industrial court to get a stay of order. Imagine that.

It was only right for the CCT to order his suspension and not his removal pending the outcome of his case.

Besides, the constitution only places limitations on Mr president when it comes to removing the CJN but not when it comes to suspending him.

Mr President did not break the law by suspending him, if he had removed him then would he have gone against he constitution.

Suspension and Removal are not the same thing.

Our constitution empowers the CCT to issue punishments as interpreted thus

The Tribunal to the exclusion of other courts is also empowered to impose any punishments as specified under sub-paragraphs (2) (a), (b) & (c) of paragraph 18 as provided in sub-paragraphs 3 and 4 of paragraph 18

.....you are right, an average Yoruba person wether pastor or pagan will always fear,, tribalize ,,,be intimidated,, betray,, run from battle.. and can't be trusted. Even a prophet friend once told me that he doesn't want any of his Yoruba pipu to work wit him in his ministry because of their backstabbing attitude. Virtually every worker in his church are from Benue,, Ebonyi.. Delta etc. I love Dem but dis nature of theirs is like a FOX IN THE VINE....The only people who are exceptions are perhaps the folks that were exposed to other settlements. And those who travel out...Or those who don't grow up in their egba regions

I have just gone through all your posts. I realized that you are a Buhari fan, so no matter what the President does he is right.

I noted also that as a legally wise person ( since others are legally dull as you said) as you are, you have not quoted the relevant provision of the CFRN that you have referred to neither have you quoted and applied the relevant provision of the CCT Act.

You have only been copying and pasting copiously.

Even the Judgment on the CCT by the CJN you are brandishing, you have not given the citation to enable anyone look it up.

Please let us be objective in our argument and you can also make your points without insulting others.

Saying they are legally dull isn't an insult but an observation.

My focus was on the word LEGALLY and yes from the perspective of the law and its understanding, a lot are dull. How is that an insult?

He is referring to Reno.

The law is clear regarding the role and powers vested on the CCT and they are empowered to issue punishments when it comes to false asset declaration and their issuance of an order to suspend the CJN is within their constitutional powers.

That is not so with PMB and the so called petitions against him.

This is what Timi Dakolo meant when he said he thought Reno the lying pastor knew the law.

Ehen? Is that so?

When dumbohari is kicked out (or killed if he refused to surrender power), all those who aided him in destroying our democracy by conspiring with him or maintaining conspiratorial silence in the face of injustice must be either be jailed and/or banned from partaking in democratic politics for life. They should never be allowed to reap from the democracy they helped to destroy.

If we had banned buhari a well known tyrant and other anti-democratic elements from democratic politics as recommended by a punch editorial written in 1999, we won't be battling with this tyrant who hated democracy and yet wanted to reap from it. Dumbohari is dragging this country back to stone age.

He either leaves aso rock peacefully next month or have his lifeless dead body dragged out of there. Enough said.

I don't know if Osinbajo is acting under duress or not but truth is he has disappointed many. If I were him, I'll resign now and earn a good name for myself and my generation.
He can bank on this dignity and run for a position on his own later and see Nigerians vote for him vehemently.
Which Nigerians?

Unless he is going to retain those states buhari won, his lose would be emphatic.

The crook that was caught playing tribal politics out of desperation.
