Tlontin: LOE and SOP are the same thing. Most prospective applicants use LOE to address the concerns that was raised by the visa officer which led to a refusal in their previous application. Whilst, the SOP detailing about their study intent, home ties, career goals and plans etc.. Is this your first application?, an SOP will be okay. 1 Like |

Raymondrain: Sure you can do that so long as the information you demonstrated/put forward in your LOE won't coincide with the SOP. Have you ordered for your GCMS note and gone through the detailed refusal reasons highlighted by the visa officer? Kindly share your GCMS note, if you've one. |

Sakaz: Why PGD instead of Master's or Phd to show academic progression? Your chances of getting a TRV is slim, although not impossible. Hence, the onus is dependent upon you the principal applicant to convince the visa officer beyond reasonable doubt that you're truly a bona-fide applicant who has already secured an MBA and now decided to travel all the way from Nigeria to Canada to study a degree (PGD) that is lower than your already completed degree (MBA). For these straight forward reasons that might lead to a refusal, i would suggest you opt for Express Entry, Phd or second Master's degree. 2 Likes 1 Share |

nua07: If I get you right, you used paper route and you submitted your application alongside with your original passport and now need your passport to travel to another country? The sporting chance of retrieving your passport is by withdrawing your application. You can email the Nairobi and Lagos visa offices through the shortlisted email addresses requesting for a withdrawal of your application. If a decision hasn't been made on your application, your request will marked as priority and will be processed within a couple of (1-2) weeks. On the contrary that a decision has already been made, you have no option but to wait until the processing office finalises and a decision communicated to you. lagos.immigration@international.gc.ca nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca Best of luck! |

Christty:It's very difficult to get a masters with the GP for the aforementioned course..though there might be schools who may offer which I do not know. U can go for a PGD...Google colleges in canada, search via courses in computer science or computer science itself which dy offer, check their admission requirements, apply den come back to ask questions concerning getting a visa |
