Good day house, I have a Master's degree in physical Chemistry, I wish to apply for another Master's degree in Chemical Engineering in the US. I have been reading on this forum that a Bsc to Bsc or an Msc to Msc doesn't always fly with the VOs. Should I apply for a PhD instead ? In which case my undergraduate GPA isnt so good (2.5/ 5.0).but my Msc GPA is 3.98/5.0 and i intend to write GRE and TOEFL. Thank you.

its easier to go for PHD and physical Chemistry is not a bad course. Unless you can convince the Vo why you want to go for another masters degree. GOODLUCK

This is definitely easy. When you are applying for another Master, simply use BSC as your highest qualification. Make sure you have a good high score in both test scores.

Check for schools you would like to study,their requirements are on their websites.You would need to take SAT and/ or TOEFL/IELTS

Are you really sure about this '1462' score?
1462 sounds too low to get an international student into Harvard without taking the SAT subject tests and having some badass extracurriculars.

Again, SAT scores only come in multiples of 10.... Every SAT score must end with '0'

I'm confused.

Trust me, sometimes, the all encompassing admission thing such as the extra curricular you stated could make him get it. Sometimes too, it could have been diversity.

sorry you cant have been following this thread quitely and have no idea on what steps to take...start reading from page 1.... you will learn so much..... read...if you can read then it shows you are ready for masters class too

You do not need a PGD to do your Masters as HND is accepted for graduate studies in the US. I would suggest you search schools that has a Masters program in your field of interest and apply. You can start with www.usnews.com for your school search.
You necessarily need not evaluate your transcript, some schools have in-house evaluation team.

What do you need ielts for ...admission or canada immigration .. toefl is widely more used than ielts for admission

Sis I would have written Toefl but being that I wrote ielts sometime in 2016,am already used to their Test.
I have made adjustment on bands I didn't really get my desired scores.

Intend using it to apply for scholarships, work etc.. It's been a long time preparation for Ielts is just the remaining money holding me back to write the exam I wish I could follow February 14th set to write the exam.

Yes. In Netherlands, the school will apply for the visa for you . Yours is to take your passport to the nearest embassy for stamping. Let's not derail the thread.

why is that everyone here is busy debating on my brown/Harvard admissions admission instead of helping me get scholarship..to be sincere I didn't know getting into such school can be competitive, I only search for the best school in us through which I found those school. I also told them that am very good in football and basketball which they requested for prove and I sent it to them..I will snap my admission letter/ i20 and upload it for you people to see yourself .But I hope am save? because this is a public forum. or is there any other way to clear the doubt? .I don't know how to send pm , so I will appreciate if you can help me out with any tuition waiver. I will also appreciate if you can tell me the school to choose between brown and Harvard because I only choose Harvard because is more widely recognize than brown. moreover, I don't understand why people here keep saying ivy league or something like that, will it be a red flag during my interview?.
