I have worked with Americans.Honestly when they first to listen to black American music here in Africa..they like it.There..for some reason they never heard of it.It surreal.I was like you but I met so many of them to know white America is something else.Find the average white American mention all the black big stars..blank.They never heard of them.Michael Jackson and a few maybe.That is why blacks winning Oscars is so rare.The racial divide is crazy..no white radio or TV or club will ever play black music.And majority of the guys I met are ngo do gooders.

Those track are OK.tracks doesn't matter.There are many things which determines the top speed a train can cruise at a railway line. You have to check curvature radius( curve radii),superelevation,track gauge,centripetal force,how long is the train,weight etc.
But in my little education I have, the most important factors are curve radius and superelevation. But curve radius is the most important. The bigger the curve radius the higher speed.In simple words we say high speed trains don't require sharp curves.If you know a curve radius of your railway you can easily tell the speed.So a speed train needs a curve radius of more than 2000m
