Visa Extension, Packing, Unpacking and Why i've been Inactive. Good day fam. Hope everyone is doing great I'm sorry for the inactivity but here's what happened. If you read my first few posts, i said i was travelling with my older siblings and along the line, i mentioned that we would be staying 14 days or less. So far we've apent more than 14 days and that's because after 12 days, we realised we hadn't gotten all we came for so we had to extend our visas. We've also been moving between hotels due to distance. The last hotel was a good 14 stops from the City Centre (by metro). Imagine spending #750 (7.50AED) each before getting to the City centre and from the city centre, you will still spend some change before getting to the main market These are some of the reasons why i haven't been able to take pictures talk less of posting. Hope you understand. The view from our current hotel. 4 Likes

Re: See The United Arab Emirates Through The Lens Of A Nigerian by Nobody: 10:06am On Feb 05, 2019 |
samee72:You will have to go through your initial visa application link. In our case, we used an agency so we just went back to them and asked for the extension. 247vip:Thanks for following However, it is impossible to join us at this time as: ▪We aren't part of an organised tour group. ▪We leave in 2 days so we are now rounding up our business here. Hope you have fun though. Some kind people on this thread suggested some cool places to visit so check those out. If you want somewhere inexpensive, try Global Village.....It's just 15AED for the entry ticket. We went there yesterday and i'll be uploading pictures later today. 1 Like |

Princewill87:The visa costs between 50 and 70k. Ticket price varies between airlines. But the earlier you book, the cheaper. |

The Global village is a festival park with markets segmented by country or continent. It's similar to a regular amusement park with the colourful layout as well as the multitude of games and rides. The ticket cost us 15AED each, which only guaranteed entry into the "Global Village". Everything thereafter had it's own price not covered by the initial fee. 4 Likes

Games There are many games at the Global Village and each game comes with both a price and a prize. For the prize, most of the prizes are teddy bears in sizes ranging from minute to extra large. You could either win one of those, a row of cards which can renewed to get 1 free chocolate or you could win nothing at all It all depends on which game you play and the rules attached. As for the price, you need points to play a game. One point equals 1AED. You can either pay cash or get a card loaded with points instead. How much you'd pay would be determined by how many points you request to purchase. If you go with the second option, your card will be scanned at every game stand and required points deducted. 1 Like |
