see how the Sky news is trying to spin Liam Neeson story to make him look racist. also thanks to the American media for causing this thunderstorm. if you want to get dumb start watching American mainstream media like CNN and co and see how they spin the news
how come it is only white people and their media that know what is racist for black people? this is what i am talking about the Social warrior justice media, always trying to kill everything, they have killed comedy, they almost killed video games, this is what we dont want in Nigeria, where social justice warriors which some Nigerians living and studying in the west will find fault in every situation, they look at everything in black and white and suppressing free speech
Good thing you've confessed. You can't molest people and expect to be given a pat on your back for doing a good job, this doesn't happen where there's sanity, In my opinion you're a disgrace to male folks.
wetdick: This is not a hate speech but a good rant. if you like comment, it is not by force.
I am tired of you guys especially many of you that call yourself Nigerians, the moment you step feet abroad, your next ambition is to be a social justice warrior and a fan of liberal ideas of equality and all sorts of ideology that are unrealistic or goes against the African cultures, you are easily manipulated and easily deceived by western cultures then you start bashing anything Nigerian or African especially many of our women, things are not perfect here but once you land in that western countries suddenly, you became aware of rights and some fancy political ideas that will destroy mankind. let's think about this for a moment, wherein nature is there equality? i am for equal opportunities but that should not mean you will get everything on a platter of gold, even among men where is the equality, you guys become so extreme that political correctness is your logo, nobody can say their opinion without being called a misogynist, of what purpose is a discussion if everything ends in abuse.
Some of you guys are bringing what you learnt abroad here into our society, disrupting social norms and creating more divide and hate, just last year there was a protest in yaba by women who claimed they are fighting against sellers who drag or touch them when they want to buy something in the market, I laugh when I saw the protest, I know one of your agents was there among you protester(the white woman who is brainwashing you guys), is it not funny that the main culprits of sexual harassments and molestations are the big men in high places, in offices, the man that will call you to hotels before he can give you a job, you guys didn't take your fight and protest to them because you know most of you will lose your job or lose their friendships, the easier target to show your guilt and frustration is the poor seller selling in yaba. I am so happy they laughed at you guys
I hope you guys will change, universities in the western world are turning to brainwashing centers where strange ideologies are taught instead of education, on campuses, nobody wants to hear other people viewpoint, sometimes the professor makes it seems like, as a black man or woman, the system is against you, which is not true, they are programming you to be a loser, not to work hard, to blame the white man, to blame the system instead of taking responsibility for yourself. some of these Nigerians studying in western universities are so brainwashed that when they come to Nigeria, they think everybody is out to get them especially when they fail, i hope one day you see through this madness.
Just because you saw all the materialism of the western world doesn't mean we in Africa are stupid, we need to protect our culture and heritage. the western world is trying their best to destroy our culture and identity, so that we can accept anything, once you destroy a man culture and identity, you can indoctrinate him or her just like what they are doing in the west especially in America, i hope we will open our eyes and see what these type of people and their agents are doing here. some of you are indirectly and directly their agents. pls, wisen up, if your idea can not help lift millions of Nigerians from poverty, pls keep your divisive and hate ideas in your pocket and don't think you are better than Nigerian here because you are living abroad.
some of you when you are back in Nigeria suffer from returnee syndrome, thinking you deserve the best jobs and opportunity because you studied abroad.
You can go stay in your village na, after all 'them no force anybody. Lubbish
dude, if you read what i wrote well, i was talking about the ideas that have destroyed the black community in america or in Europe, they shouldn't bring that here and that is what they are trying to do
In the 60s-70s black America had 90% intact family of both mother and father, now it is 70%, single mothers home there was less crime in black America now black america is in shambles, even in the UK stabbing and gangs are the norms in the black community.single motherhood is increasing because of the welfare society.
if they are trying to sell us failed ideologies, pls they should not but if they want to transfer skills to Nigerians , they are very welcome.
There is a lot more to that...from an eyewitness.
1. Easy access to sex via the internet 2. Women seeing "child support" as a viable business. 3. Ability to get free food to feed children 4. Clintons 3 strike policy that has made a lot of black men spend productive years in jail and unable to adequately provide for thier kids when they get out because they cant get good jobs due to their tainted records. 5. Thug life being glorified by gangster music.
And so on. In Nigeria, glorification of cultism, internet fraud, ritual riches, baby mama ish by your popular musicians like Nice, Wizkid, Davido, Flavour and Tuface have done more damage than any diaspora Nigerians.
i really do not want to argue with you. pls explain to me how society works and if you helped to build that society you lived in, or in your society sexual harassment does not happen.
and what does my write up has to do with your ideas of how society works, i am writing about ideologies that have failed in the western world and some bunch of people bringing that here to Nigeria creating divide and hate, (divide and conquer is real and that is what i see when some failed western idealogy began to rear its head in Nigeria)
No amount of argument you make here is going to change people's mind with what western ideologies they choose to bring and practice in Nigeria.
Like I earlier stated that those western ideologies are choices made aware to people to either embrace or deny.
The internet and technology like cars, computers and many more that you are using were introduced by the same western ideologies.

Why are you using them in Nigeria?
i think you are twisting my words, i was talking about political ideology of liberalism and equality which is very unrealistic, have you read Protocols of the Elders of Zion, read this book and understand what i am talking about. these ideologies of liberalism and equality is what many Nigerians in the west love to fall in love with

you better hope. so you think that the men in high places shouldnt be called to the books when it is popular knowledge that they are the main perpetrators of sexual harassment in the workplace

You have being bending yourself into all sorts of shapes trying to defend this your sad and troubling mentality, did you just wake up in 2019 and realized that its not longer 1908?
So when those street rats sexually attack women its ok and we should only focus on big men doing the same?

you can call it whatever you like i dont care, so according to you the rich are above the law while the poor need to face the wrath. my question has always been why are the women not protesting against men in high places who most times demand sex or tell them to meet in hotels before they are given a job.
Big men in offices are the biggest perpetrators of sexual harassment in the workplaces, i will advise any protesters to channel her protest to those people but most won't do, because they are scared of losing their friendships or their jobs,
if this is a troubling mentality, then i wonder how you think.
A lady who would get married and be a slave in the house. A Nigeria where women can get molested at Tejuosho but the big men aren't suppose to touch you.
If we had a working system, all these people would be put in their place - jail. Who do the ladies report to?
Even SARS don't arrest Yahoo guys for justice but for their own pocket. How many people have been charged to court and gone to jail for molesting ladies. Who then does the lady report to and justice would be carried out, the only thing we know how to do is to shout on social media, I wish it had far more impact than it has now.
See, some of these ideologies would only make us better. Would you rather have a situation where they bring the #metoo movement to Nigeria in a bid to solve these harassment problem or we have a world of equal opportunities where men and women qualify for the same job, on merit.
Kindly be specific with the sort of ideologies you're talking about.

if you think #metoo solved harassment problems then you are joking, it just made many men avoid women and not wanting to help them in the work place, it was a witch hunt, i also think, you twisted all that i was saying, my question is why are the women not protesting against men in high places who are the real harassers, who demand sex before job interviews, why are they not after the powerful men? but come to think of it again what are the sellers at the market doing except forcing these young women to buy their clothes
And the ideology i am talking about, is feminism, promoting single motherhood, liberalism, gay rights and other rights which are very impossible to achieve. this are basically political tools to cause anarchy.

Maybe you need to research on what feminism is. Kindly expatiate on what harm feminism would do to us as a country if you claim these ideologies mar us.
When have you ever seen anyone encouraging single motherhood, where's your source? Even the Americans don't like it!
In as much as I personally don't support the LGBT movement, it's not our business what two men or ladies do behind closed doors. Of course except we have religious views that doesn't support this.
Rights that'd give women more opportunities are one of the things you're against right? Women aren't supposed to drive, vote, go to school, take up jobs. The only thing they're meant to do is give birth, sit at home, give birth, cook, take care of the kids.
We should be grateful they've been fight for women rights over the years as most of the things I listed here were seen as a norm, many many years ago.

[b][quote]it will change the balance in society, make us go away from the normal traditional values of a man and women and lead us to single motherhood, where single motherhood and baby mama syndrome is the norm just like the black community in the US, the reality is that this will ruin children.
Political correctness, you can say anything without being called a misogynist even when you bring real facts that support your argument
it decreases moral standard in a society, havent you see the feminist group here in Nigeria talking about irrelevant stuff like a woman is allowed to do anything sexually to her body, this is in a way promoting women as a mere sexual object, thus it is none of our business if she is a run girls rather than an educator of our kids.
here in Nigeria, we have very important issues that are more important than feminism, we have poverty, high mortality rate among young infants, i see none of the feminist talking about this issues or giving ideas on how to solve these issues.

[b][quote]Liberalism is garbage and has always been garbage, the intent fight for rights and equality of society is impossible to achieve except they themselves want to create an authoritarian society or pure anarchy and confusion in society. even the liberals know that what they are selling is impossible to acheieve

[quote]it is our business to know what two men and two ladies are doing behind closed doors, very important we protect society from this idea, everything starts from closed doorsbefore we know it children will start practising it, also it is common knowledge that the rate of HIV and AIDS and drugs abuse is high among people who practice gay sex, any epidemic of diseases from these people will be a national security issue

[quote]women in Nigeria have all these rights you mentioned, i dont see how women are oppressed in Nigeria, a woman can decide to be a housewife or a working class if she wants, she in fact has equal opportunities and pay in the working place just like men in Nigeria.

some of you when you are back in Nigeria suffer from returnee syndrome, thinking you deserve the best jobs and opportunity because you studied abroad.
Hmmm Its not about deserving the best jobs. Its more of knowing what you are worth as an individual and commanding those jobs.
If i studied at Harvard and i decide to come back to Nigeria, you dont think i should command the jobs i want?
The ideas you speak of: does it include the ideas related to making Nigeria a better place? Because I am positive that
Nigeria could learn a thing or two from the White people.
Unrelated: How is it possible that a building or a project that could take a few months to complete in a developed country, that same project would take several years and still end up not being complete?
Or how is it that National Universities in developed countries can guarantee (Pending good grades) that a student will graduate in 4 years but that cannot be said for Universities in Nigeria?
Oh and my favorite one, MMIA airport: was built when again? We are in 2019 and well, if you look hard enough, you can still see tech from the yester years.

Oh well, what do i know.
so because, you studied in Harvard, we should just give you a job without checking if your grades are good or if the course you studied is relevant, dude, that is pure entitlement mentality. Nobody is entitled to anything, you have to prove yourself first before we can take you seriously.
cultures learn from each other, but how come we only learn all the ideas that will take us further to destruction and hate, ideas that will put us in big troubles and destabilise a nation.

There is a bigger picture here which you fail to see. Stop seeing things from a common man`s perspective.
Harvard only take in a special specie of students
1. Highly Connected 2. Alumi 3. Brainacks.
Harvard will not let you graduate until you meet a certain standard. So your talk of good grades is null.
Again, your line of though is shocking. You will never EVER see someone from harvard, apply for a job, they know nothing of.
I do get where you are coming from though. There are people out there who go to schools in Russia, Cyprus bleh and expect
to command jobs easily. I am not for that. I am against that. Bottom line is education abroad is still miles ahead of what is currently

there are also affirmative actions for minorities students to get into Harvard. basically, standards are reduced for them. in respect to good result, if 100 people are admitted to Harvard University, do you expect every one of them to graduate with the same result? NO, some will come out with As, some with Bs and the other with Cs, that is just simple.
Again, your line of though is shocking. You will never EVER see someone from harvard, apply for a job, they know nothing of.
this is not true, I know of a history major, who know nothing about banking, graduated from Harvard and worked in a top investment bank in the US, he learnt on the job. also, there are plenty of Harvard graduate working in different fields which are not related to what they studied in school, and this is not only for harvard graduate but for most graduates. so your argument is false.
Bottom line is education abroad is still miles ahead of what is currently available in Nigeria.
in times of facilities, research and organisation, we may be far away but in giving good education, we can still compete with some western countries, why is it that, some graduate in Nigeria with 2.2 do graduate with distinctions when they do their masters abroad in western countries? if our standard wasnt high, they wouldnt be able to compete.
i am not discouraging anybody. Most sexual assault and harrasement in nigeria happens in closed places in offices, universities, churches etc. Let the protest be channel there.
guy u no just get sense at all, very ignorant post, a travelled man is an educated man, u are very ignorant, tufiakwa
@wetdick I kinda get your underlying reasoning: being against the whole post-modernist 3rd wave feminism, neo-marxists ideology interwoven with racial and sexual intersectionality and identity politics currently going on in the West. I also understand the entitlement some Nigerians who schooled abroad have, as well as our nack to embrace foreign ideologies without any filter.
However, castigating the Yaba anti-sexual harassment protest will only lead you into a rabbit hole. It is a social ill that has plagued society for as long as I can remember. That and the corporate sexual harassments by big Ogas can both be tackled in parallel.

Discussion, debate and criticism in Nigeria is a personal attack. We are too emotional in this country, We are going nowhere in this country if people can not analyse messages before commenting.seperate a message from emotions, Logical and critical thinking is missing here in Nigeria. Discussions, debate and criticism is part of life and progress
Most myopic comments comes from people who haven't step their feet on Murtala Muhammed Airport or people selling tickets, immigration and study abroad packages.

GoodLuck Wetdick.
Go ahead and tell us how many places you have been Boast on places you have gone, go ahead.
So the fact that someone doesn't agree with your point of view does not make them myopic. justwise that opposes your view has been in the UK for many years (if I'm right) and many other people who have opposed you are in various countries.
You need to understand that many of the stuffs you wrote up there are just things meant for the 20th century.
I am proud to say I have never stepped foot into MM International Airport. Despite that, I have read some things about foreign countries and don't posses just a very limited knowledge. I've seen some of these foreign guys ideologies. I hope to at least enter the airport soon

This is not a matter of being emotional. You can't judge anyone being emotional or not I would also love to tell you that your very first post on this thread depicted how much emotions you have/had bottled up in you

LOL, my reality, i am tired of arguing, i just do what i wanna do and i really dont care how people react. that is my reality.
