This line almost made me shed a tear "Her official name is “Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and of her other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith.”

Like do you know what this means ? It means once upon and even up to today, in some places she is queen over your territory ( whether you like it or not ooo, or youve never met her in your life before oooo, or you just happened to be around any of her territory, you automatically owe her alleagiance even if you are 40,000 miles away from her palace, Like with no threat of force or compulsion, she is your queen)

This is deep mehn, honestly i dont want to sound inferior or anything but this British Empire people conquered a lot of these planet fam and the funny thing is they are relatively just few of them even till today here on this island called UK ( Population wise ) . But fam almost every where in the world felt the British effect from the food, language, culture, marriage,( the white wedding is the royal family official ceremony) ( the wigs lawyers wear to Court, like just name it etc.

Even British prisoners they took from British prisons and released into another continent became Australians, like i think it was the British Gene or something like that always gave them the ingenuity or something cos some of the things they came up with wasnt even normal or obvious at the time...

Like they came up with almost everything modern from electricity, vaccine, telephone, water closet, like almost everything that changed modern life. Kai this life sha, God save their queen tho ?

I tell u my brother, these British people are too smart joor,i can vividly remember that it was Spain and Portugal that first started exploring the new world but these English men just came out from the dark cover and out manoeuvred them, sometimes i wonder how they were even able to control their vast empire then.

Another fact is that the Queen does not wear any garment twice in her lifetime .
She wears anything from her clothing line and after wearing it . It goes to the laundry to be disposed .
That why her wears are being auctioned.

Even America (the native one) used to be one of their long line of colonies. GB is really very powerful and has a rich history, so is France.

Yeah and what gets at me is that at the time they were actually very small in population but had everyone engineers, lawyers, architects, sailors, craftsmen, so wherever they went, they could get things done quicker. Also they had old universities and schools (cambridge and oxford) which were responsible for either training or educating these people dating centuries back. So things even became easier to do

Interesting. This underscores the import of sound education in a man's development: A small collection of educated and knowledgeable persons will easily dominate a large mass of unleterred ones.

This was exactly was it was especially in Africa, it was extremely easy to move from one mass of area of land ( Giving it any name they wished) and then moving on to another like it was an adventure. The only obvious resistance they met was probably from the Zulu's in South Africa. They had to fight the Zulu's for their land, and the Anglo -Eyptian war too. And in this type of wars, there was only going to be one winner

All colonialists and conquerors are thieves on a grand scale. The GB and France, having colonized many countries and nations in the past, remain the top players on the list of kleptomaniacs cum colonialists of this world.

They didn't just stop at giving it any name they wanted. They also instituted major things like religion, language, and the scam called Western education.

No country can attain greatness if its citizens speak another man's language as their lingua franca, if they worship another man's gods as their own gods, if their system of education is foisted on them by their colonial masters.

A sovereign country must develop their own indigenous systems of education, language, and religion. These are core issues that determine the greatness any country attains.

But sadly, Nigeria — and a host of other African countries — still suffer this fate and are in the throes of neocolonialism.

Africans only have an illusion of freedom. No uhuru yet until we go back to our roots, embrace our indigenous cultures and traditions, and discard that scam called Western education.

Courses and subjects have to be taught in our citadels of learning in our indigenous languages, and only translated to English later on. English needs to be relegated to a second language.

They didn't maneuver them. Spain and Portugal weren't interested in enslaving you, so they concentrated in the America's and Carribeans. Britain indeed came from the dark and with more savagery, that's why they were interested in enslaving YOU, so they shipped you off overseas as goats. And here you're proud of them? Wonderful!.

yes she is but upon leaving the shop, there's always someone who pays the shop owner whether or not anything was taken in case anything was taken without her being seen.

It had nothing to do with sound education. First schools in Europe were built in Greece, Italy, Spain, long before Britain. It was other Europeans that indeed brought education as we know it to Britain. However, they changed the system of education they inherited and tailored it to their own language.

Their success was due to savagery. The more ruthless, spiritless, and savage an empire, the more colony they acquired.

Ok

However, once the slave system was established, they were later to find themselves in a situation where they increasingly had more raw materials to process to finished goods. This naturally compelled them to make machines for processing stuff. In turn, this led them to what they call the ''industrial revolution'' and that was the only time Britain got ahead of other countries in a legitimate way, so to speak.
