You should replace the failed course grade with the newly passed grade. That's how WES calculates GPA. Also, your final 2 years grade carries more value compared to the other years, so if you did better then, your evaluated grade goes up.
I would however advise that you just pay WES for the evaluation to be certain. The value I got using the free online evaluation was different (lower) compared to the GPA WES sent to me after their own evaluation. I hope this helps...

There are schools that accept 2.75/4.0cgpa, you can look out for them.

Good then, check for regional acredited schools in the USA some of them accept gpa of 2.75.... its also very important that you evaluate your result with WES, that way you are sure its 2.75

I recently contacted the graduate school of Northern Arizona University to make inquires as regards a master's program and the availability of scholarships and fellowships etc. In her recent reply,she told me my GPA was "a bit low" to be considered for scholarship. This reply prompted me to convert my GPA of 3.75/5.0 via the free WES GPA calculator.

The final result was 3.27/4.0. This result left me wondering...hence,I have a couple of questions to ask

# Inferring from the "lady's reply",could it be that my final result of (3.27/4.0) is unreliable? OR

My final result via the use of the free WES GPA calculator differs from what you get if I had forwarded my transcript to WES for evaluation?

#Perhaps,a GPA of 3.28/4.0 and above is required to be qualified for "those scholarships" @ NAU.

WES is lenient when doing conversion, they don't include failed courses. Most schools uses in-house evaluation and maybe that's what your school used. Most times, they include your failed courses and this in turn reduces your final GPA.

From my experience in the UK, It is possible but quite tedious and requires alot from you. I had friends that got to UK schools via loans by relatives or friends from Nigeria and they stilled pulled through but it wasnt easy. They were working as much as 70hours a week as opposed to the 20hours Max weekly hour for work. This is because they have to pay back with interest and at thesame time pay bills and rent as a student in UK. Things are quite expensive and I remember i paid close to 400 pounds per month for a shared flat(private room).

So lets do this calculation
The minimum wage in the UK as at 2016 was 7.5pound an hour and as a student you are only permitted to work 20hours max a week. So that gives us 150 pounds, remove tax and NI, you might be left with like 123pound. So a month u would have like 450pound. This is extremely low and can hardly sustain you for a month.Hence, you will need to work more hours per week as opposed to UK immigration laws. Like 40-50 hours a week will do to be able to live comfortably without any problem. Pls when doing this overtime, make sure you are SMART and avoid doing over time with WHITE company cos they might expose you eventually. Look for a trusted agency that can be giving yoi steady shift codedly. That was what i did in the UK. I was working as much as 60hours a week to make extra income. I was doing CARE WORK. So it is possible but quite hard and tiring. Goodluck

Please friends, how can I get personal copy of official transcript from my school. My school refused to give me personal copy of my official transcript, i was told i can only be given student copy wiich will be stamped "Not for official use" ... This is a real challenge to me.
I planned applying for 3 schools in us for Masters programme, the officer in charge told me sending official transcript to each of the schools will cost me 15,000, i.e a total of 45,000

But i noticed some persons do have personal copies of their respective official transcript, thus can duplicate and send to many proposed school of their choice..
Please, how do I get my personal of official transcript ?

Try and send your transcript to a comapany that you have direct access to. Then collect from them. That was what i did. Cheers
