(1) For New comers planning to travel to Dubai seeking employment, should CV be prepared based on work experience in Nigeria or CV is not required to get a first time job?

2) Should CV be prepared while working in Dubai as you gain more work experience?

3) For those doing any menial jobs upon arrival in Dubai, can there apply for professional courses for 3months or 6months to enhance their chances of climbing the professional ladder with qualifications gotten In Dubai for better chances of getting better paying jobs?

2. After you secure a job and start working in UAE then you can edit your CV to match your current status.

3. While working you can register for any professional course you like, it all depends on if you would get such spare time to do that because most menial jobs are for 12hours and it depends on your work timings as well. But if you have the zeal then the sky would be your starting point.

Red oil is very scarce and expensive, we used groundnut oil to cook soup in place of red oil because it's scarce, another thing is yam is also costly, a yam of #500 is sold at 3-4k over there

I got a problem, my visa is out and I got 2weeks to enter uae. I went for all necessary test required in the uae which is HIV, syphilis, hapitities, TB,leprosy. All results was negative so I decided to do urine culture and I was told according to the result that I have staphylococcus...... Please will that prevent me from getting a job? Plz I need and answer. No insults plz

U can simply search online if there are institutes that offer NEBOSH program in naija cos d certificate is internationally accepted. But for d cost, it all depends on the program u actually enroll for. Kindly check for details online via Google. [/quote]

. Buy drugs. Take it along with you. Put it inside your hand carry bag . And come to uae with it . Nothing spoil

Surely there is no waste in acquiring some professional certificate especially NEBOSH cos it's acceptable throughout d globe and u can easily land a safety job here in UAE if u gat one but d only problem we are facing here is Nationality problem. Though there are companies that put potential before Nationality and if u prove to know ur onions, u are good to go with the help of Jehovah. As per Project Management, doesn't know much and again gonna prefer someone with UAE or GCC experience. As a said earlier, no professional certificate is a waste.

If you are presently in Dubai for finding a job. I would strongly recommend you to attend walk in interview jobs as much as you can. I was going through a worst phase of unemployment. I had almost been depressed to email my resume whenever I found a job ad related to my job field but got no response from their side. Surprisingly, I found a trustworthy website where I could find the list of daily walk in interview jobs in Dubai and across UAE. I attended interviews back to back and eventually I got succeed to find a job. Therefore, I would strongly suggest you to keep doing the same as I did. Maybe, you will be the next lucky one. I don't think that's absolutely true. For me, I took 3 liters of palm oil and Ethiopian airline never rejected it. My bag overweighed sef. I wished I took more palm oil as it's expensive here.

What I mean to write is that palm is expensive. And for information no airline will allow you carry any kind of oil weather red or plain maybe you where lucky that day

Also,i'd like to know if one would still go for certificate attestation now if coming with 3months tourist visa to look for jobs,even if menial jobs for a start.
Again,would like to know the best answer to give an immigration officer when asked about your BTA ,ticket and an hotel reservation,should they try to inquire why one didn't pay for the hotel and what you are going for or so in UAE.This will be all for now.Thanks.
