2015 elections was singlehandedly postponed by the sitting president .
Meanwhile ,This time it is INEC that postponed the elections . The president has no hand in it .
I know some fools will say otherwise , but if Buhari can dictate for INEC ,then he should have ordered them to put Rivers and Zamfara states APC on the ballot .

In 2015 election postponement was announced on the 7th of february saturday, a full week before the elections slated for 14 february.
The reasons were
*To improve the security situation in the country by battling the Boko Haram

*To allow space for more nigerians to collect their PVC's

In 2019 elections were postponed on the 16th of february on the day of the initial elections slated for the 16th of february. The reasons are
*Logistics!

There is no need for such meaningless and flimsy comparison. Both of them are made of stupid excuses. INEC should be ashamed. Disappointing two times is really bad.

Sensitive materials have already been moved to a lot of venues for the elections, how does INEC want to ensure that the elections are not rigged... what of people that have travelled to ensure that they vote...monies that have been expended ...local and foreign observers that have also been deployed? The youth corpers nko? Why wait till 3am to announce postponement for something you said you were ready for. This is an inexcusable excuse....

This catastrophe for Nigeria.

Mohammed Abubakar is typical of the square pegs in round holes that President Buhari appointed as officers to run Nigeria.

Dragging humanity in Nigeria deep into a deep hole.

A lot of our offices were burnt and arrangements were put in place to secure a safer place before the materials for the affected states were despatched.

Anambra, Abia, Plateau and many other states,

How do we conduct elections when materials are yet to arrive at many states.

Nigerians are too difficult to manage, we Nigerians are the worst humans on earth.

You hide under the social media insulting people here and there.

Anybody who is pained can come and beat me, I'm in my house now.

What a national embarrassment.
Re: Difference Between 2015 And 2019 Postponement Of Elections by wirinet(m): 7:36am On Feb 16, 2019
The main difference between the two postponements are that the 2019 postponement was taken by INEC after emergency meeting of INEC'S commissioners (who are the people saddled with such responsibility), the 2015 postponements was done directly by Dasuki (Jonathan's government), with INEC initially disagreeing with the postponement.

The other difference is that while the 2015 postponement was not so disruptive to Nigerians as they had one week notice, the 2019 postponement is cruel to social and economic life if most Nigerians, as most woke up on election day itself to learn of the postponement. Schools have been shut for a week, most businesses had closed down and many people had travelled to their voting centres.

No soul was killed in Kajuru, Kaduna state yesterday sir. Do not help the body bags govno in spreading fake news. Kajuru is as peaceful as your home ( if at all there is peace in it)
I dont want to place a course on anyone bro. Just allow peace to reign here cos I'm not happy hearing this. I'm a Nigerian. I have friends living in that area who have gone home to vote. I have 2 friends in zango kataf and zonkwua. They called me yesterday to confirm the unfortunate killings. Please don't let us attach any undue sentiments to this. The media said 60 but over 150 lives were lost, including that of children who were not even up to the voting age. This is sad.

Postponing the election on election day, after they must have succeeded in releasing the materials to the ruling party to perfect their rigging strategy. They postponed, to allow the ruling party time to write the results. We are not fools

I know this decision by INEC is very disappointing to all and sundry, but for Atikulooters this is another opportunity to attack the president and his party for INEC's failure.

When the APC is affected by INEC's decision against it, democracy is working and INEC is independent.
But when INEC fails in its responsibility despite being given all they asked for, Mr President and the APC are endangering democracy

More shame on Atikulooters than on INEC.

election was postponed in 2011 when election has already commenced. Nigerian politicians and lawyers are funny, if the outcome of the election is not in their favour they will approach the court asking the court to council the election based on the burnt card readers and other materials.

2015 election was postponed by Jonathan and Dasuki not INEC cos INEC was seriously ready for the election.

2019 election was postponed by INEC and not Buhari cos Buhari and all the APC big weights including their supporters have all travelled to their various states and polling units for the election.
How was INEC READY in 2015? Jega admitted on the floor of NASS that one million PVCs were yet to be printed. And many more undistributed. I watched it live on Channels TV.
Never mind the strong push against Boko going on at the time to get more areas in Borno to vote.
