Big big congratulations!!!! Did you notice your ip1 and ip2 dates? Again, since you were not up to 6 months post aor, what did you ask them when you raised the cse? Milllz: It’s PPR!!!!!!
Decision to migrate: July 2018, after trying without success for about 6 months to get an admission for my masters program and emailing all the course supervisors in Canada. I decided to kukuma just go there. I switched threads, best decision I made.
IELTS: 28th July 2018 MOD 1st and only. God was faithful. LRSW 9,8.5,8,7.5 I didn’t have much time to prepare and on the speaking day, I was trembling, in the 2 minutes talk, I just spoke for about 1 minute and told the nice lady I was done, but it went well overall, when I left the room, I was just thinking of the next available date and where to get the funds from. It’s better to be calm.
ECA: 31st July 2018. WES (before all the madness started) already had my transcript, I just applied for the immigration part, took about 2 days. I am a pharmacist but didn’t use PEBC because I wasn’t practicing and didn’t want their wahala.
POF: funds was 100% gift from my dad. Transferred it to my savings account 2 days prior to submitting my application. I got the non indebtedness and reference letters, transfer successful receipt, and still added a 6 months statement (I later realized there was no need for this statement).
EMPLOYMENT: My application wasn’t perfect at all. There were difficulties, it gave me sleepless nights.
My 1st and current employment was with my Dad’s company, and I was paid in cash. So I had him draft a letter stating both jobs in IRCC format and another letter stating my current salary and that I was paid cash, I also explained it in my LOE. He signed both letters as the MD of the company. I believe this was really smooth too because we were in the same line of business. Pharmacy.
My 2nd employment was a federal hospital, they didn’t give us payslips and they had a generic reference letter they refused to amend to IRCC format. I just submitted my offer of employment and the supposed reference letter. Luckily, the offer of employment had my salary, job conditions and start date while the other letter had just duration and a brief job description. Another headache. I submitted them like that. (I should have added a letter from my supervisors to help me sleep better at night)
Mediclas: Children’s practice. It was pretty smooth.
Siblings: I claimed siblings points, my sister was well settled a few months earlier, so I attached everything I could get my hands on. But it was very complete.
Schedule A: I have a virgin passport and about 4 US visa rejections. It should be 5, I didn’t get past the gate on one occasion because of a mistake . All were blue letters though, no misrepresentation or anything. Those people just hated my guts . So I just respected myself and jejely attached the schedule A form and explained in the LOE.
I had an issue with my name, I always use my 4 names in all my documents, with two of the names separated with a hyphen. But my birth certificate was missing one of the names and I had to add it to claim siblings point. I had done an affidavit, but for some reason I decided not to attach it at the last minute. Another sleepless night because I was so tempted to raise a CSE and attach it, but I decided to relax. When I ordered my gcms notes, I realized an officer had a little issue with it but with the hyphen in my name being absent in another document. (Please just attach the affidavit of name change to avoid stories.)
CRS Score: 456. Should have been 470s but CIC didn’t give me professional points. I followed some people’s advice that I’d be given professional degree points because of my degree irrespective of what my ECA says. It’s a lie.
ITA: 22nd August 2018 AOR: 10th September 2018. MED passed/ BIL: 4th October. Biometrics submitted: 8th October
Then the wait started.
Biometrics completed: 14th February, 2019. My biometrics just completed this week, we were a lot that had this issue and initially thought it was an issue but to God be the glory. The only thing that changed in my status was medical. I had raised several CSEs, emailed Ralph and called once.
Ghost update on the 4th of January. Ordered gcms notes on the 12th of December, received on the 15th January, 2019. Apart from the name, every other thing was fine. Just Criminality had been passed.
February 14th, got another ghost update, raised another CSE and I was replied the day after that a decision had been made.

Normally, it comes out 7days after the exam but we have cases where the result takes forever to come out. I sat for the exam since 29th January but result isn't ready up till date and we were just 13 that wrote the exam.

Why not? It is a 3yr post-secondary certificate. I believe it will get evaluated as a 3yr Bachelor's. The more important question is whether the points you get will be enough for an ITA.
