We agree Senegal are the best team in this tournament. But I still reiterate that our team is not that bad. We were the better side when we lost to Mali via penalties. We were also better than SA yesterday. Penalties can go either ways.

However we also agree that Aigbogun needs to carry out some surgery in certain departments of the team.

I still have high hopes on the team. Not hope of winning the WYC o. But at least a descent showing. We need to harvest the quality ones amongst them to promote to the SE. So this WYC is key for us as a footballing nation.

Bar the goalkeeper, Oremade, and the two CBs, this team has nothing to offer Nigeria at the long run. I see no super eagles prospects in this team.

Buh na this AYC team av bn writing about nah, not any imaginary WYC team. Aigbogun should have done better with his scouting, locally for the AYC. Those over aged carpenters cant be the best Nigerian could take to this AYC.

Good for him 7th league goal now

I dont know why kasimpasa had to loan him to a relegation when he was doing well there

The club must have offered good money for the deal. Kasimpasa moved out a few players during the last window.

That shot looked weak and could have been caught or parried better.

Truly the defenders were watching another game there

This Niger pitch is rubbish. It is not doing Justice to this game.

That pitch took away so much gloss from the tournament. They should have used the artificial one as the main pitch

Men .....a state in Nigeria can host a better tournament than this.

Please CAF should mind the kind of places they take these tournaments to. To be honest I didn't enjoy this tournament. I was expecting better Football than these but the pitches didn't help matters.

That other artificial pitch doesn't look TV friendly due to the size of the stadium and also camera position. If these are the only 2 stadiums a nation as big as Niger can boast of then they must be very very backward infrastructurally.

Senegal played better on that artificial pitch but struggled on the Potatoes Niamey pitch. Only Mali seemed to have mastered that bad pitch probably because of their direct style of play. And they may also be used to such back in Mali grin

Samu was an unused sub in the Villarreal match
Seems the coach is not interested in his development
Dude need to leave Villarreal as soon as possible else his story may be worse than Mikel's

Mikel has had a great career. If Chukwueze turns out to be half as successful, that's a great thing.

Big both geographically and population wise. At least they are more populated than 70% of all countries in Africa with a population of over 20 million. Smaller nations like Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Rwanda, Seychelles and Mauritius boast of better facilities.

I agree their GDP is nothing to write home about but why bother to host when u don't have the resources and capacity? Well, it is CAF I will blame.
