However an Spokesman for the electoral body, Mr Oluwole  Osaze-Uzezi who spoke with a Punch correspondent, debunked counter claims made by the Minister. He said;

The bolded was what INEC said and they are right as it concerns flight to Enugu. I doubt the minister didn't listen to INEC explanation or could not rationalise that the material intended could not have been scheduled to be moved a day to the election.

Honestly bruh, the numbers don't favor Atiku.... The only states I see him getting 40-45 percent in d Northwest is Kano and Sokoto states... As for the NorthEast, apart from Taraba and Adamawa, where else is he sure of winning?..... Abi na SouthWest? Forget the Ogun state drama. He'll still lose there....... These are the regions with the highest voters population. It's gon be tight but at d end of the day, I think Buhari will lose. Kudos to Wike, Ekweremadu, Fayose and others who held PDP afloat when it almost sank in 2016. I never believed they'd give APC such headaches

Actually, it's quite possible that weather was an issue. Dust/Haze is prevalent in periods like this and could reduce visibility significantly on the runway which can make it difficult for aircrafts to land. Airports have been shutdown due to this in Nigeria many times.

NB: I am neither saying INEC is being truthful nor supporting PDP/APC. I am just saying it as it is.

Yeah the southeast.... And this postponement must have dampened morale even more...... But kudos to PDP..... At 2016, I was scared there might be no opposition to APC. I just pray they will all stay, provide real opposition to APC and actually work towards 2023

The is a very dumb statement. Does INEC control the airports? Do they control the pilots? So why didn’t the planes land in the designated airports after take off with INEC materials?

Mmmm. I believe weather also caused why there was a mix up of Materials. One question is: Why did Kano and Katsina states (1st and 3rd in voters population and Muhammadu Buhari's strongholds) mostly affected by the mix up and inadequate materials? Why isn't the person in charge of logistics being queried? The failure of the INEC to hold the elections as scheduled can be linked to PDP's constant wailing and whining. Else, why change the person in charge of logistics ( A person who has been there for a while and understand the workings) for a neophyte in logistics matters few months to a general election?
