Please, how do we complain, particularly those of us who applied in first week in January?
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by vicola5533: 10:22am On Feb 18, 2019
@Blessings, give us the Link through which we can lay our complain to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, if possible the permanent secretary and the minister of foreign affairs. That will go a long way
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by vicola5533: 10:24am On Feb 18, 2019
Or, all applicants who applied and no response, can we suggest a date and then go to the VFS in Lagos with our complain letter and then channel it to them in a compelling disturbing manner.
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Juwohn: 12:13pm On Feb 18, 2019
I doubt this would work. VFS is aware of the delay but they also claim to not understand why as they are just an intermediary organisation.
During my application I met almost four people who had come to withdraw their passport. I had to submit mine even bearing those issues in mind cos there was no alternative then. Now I know better but still hoping for the best.

This really sounds good. I for one didn't even know that we could complain to the Foreign Affairs.
Did you complain via email or in-person. My experience with the Nigerian govt. offices is that they are not active online smiley

Blessings15:

we do brother, I reported case to Ministry of Foreign Affairs Abuja last year was told no one has complained only me. If we are more than 5 and above they will act.

The Yellow fever card needs to be available alongside your medical report, radiology report and other documents needed for your application processes.
Viquetohr:
I don't get your point please. Did you mean I may proceed with submitting my visa application without the yellow fever card at first?

Visa processing time varies from one person to another. If you read through this thread very well you will noticed some people applied just this year and they got it while some people applied since last year and are still waiting for outcome. Luck can shine on you.
walejummy:
sir may I ask when you apply and how long it takes for your visa to come out, I like compare with this long processing days for the tourist visa

You can not submit your visa application without YELLOW FEVER CARD IN MY PREVIOUS POST, I SAID IT IS NEEDFUL JUST THE WAY OTHER DOCUMENTS ARE NEEDFUL FOR YOUR VISA PROCESSING FACILITATION.

So does that mean the status on the vfs web have not changed whether you fall into the category or not. And who has checked for it yet?

We might have to wait for a few days for it to arrive at the VFS Office.
And is this information for Lagos or abuja?

This is good news, pls any one who is Chanced and stays in Lagos, should visit VFS, make inquiries and let us know the outcome.
I don't think the embassy will allow any one in, but there is no harm in trying. Good luck to us

Metucity:

I had to send a mail to the SA Home affairs directly who I believe is attending to my case because they replied me and apologized for the inconveniences they caused me. Later they sent me another mail requesting for my visa application ref number. I forwarded all the documents and even attached a letter from my hod requesting them to expedite the process. So I believe they are already on it and hopefully it will be out soon.

I also wrote them last Year December and was told they cant use such foreign ref number to trace my application to see what is happening. Only those application done at vfs, SA with ref: TRC, TRA, TRR etc... not SAABJ / SALA etc... because they dont have system to track and trace international applicant.

True talk! it's a great privilege & Thanks for that i wish some of us will think like you.
(but maybe 4 1st timers such as visitors etc i think not for those with investments, family, businesses and properties)

This man (qalifa) waited for 5-6 Months for study visa not a first time applctn and later got denied. Time is precious.

But at least release passport either a yes or no.
