i bought it from a car stand at my area last week i took the benz for a test drive it performed really well and it's really silent.

but my problem is if it turned off and restarted smoke comes out from the exhaust thats why i concluded to get a new engine. and moreover the engine has worked tirelessly in europe.

150k and synthetic oil(mobil 1) of like 30k,filter 3k and labour+transport 25000.
So 210k will do.
Spend good money and rest.no ever rebuild any engine,it's not worth it

And na still dis star oil dey enter gearbox o!even though the gearbox of our mercs are solid as rock,don't abuse it too much.
But beware of the m271!it can drill a hole in one's pocket

Nah it is not likely to be a new engine issue. A lot of things could make a Mercedes Benz smoke not necessarily piston rings. If the smoke clears a few moments after start up or driving for a while.... Definitely not oil rings...more like valve oil seals. I noticed Oga Oluwaseunla... Make I keep quiet.. Morn Sah!

our w211 fast and balance no doubt, but you see Nigerian highways? Those Es, Is, Fx, Maxima, even 1.8 litre Corolla go show you say looks can be deceiving. Drive safely bro, remember say potholes plenty and front shocks if your Benz na 4matic go cost almost the same as you dey pay for engine.
